I continue to give this location chance after chance because it’s closer to my house. I have been there several times later in the evening (after 8pm) to order sonic blasts and every single time they say the ice cream machine is broke. Now, ether you need to fix/replace the machine or your evening employees don’t want to make the blast. It really funny this never happen during the day when I go so I have a hard time believing it’s the machine. I would love for the owner to comment instead of the sonic corporate folks and tell me the machine is or isn’t broke. If it’s not why don’t you secrete shop your business and understand why you maybe losing revenue. If it is why have you as an owner not replaced it so customer can trust that you have what they want when they take the time to drive to your business. We have 4 different sonics all within 5 miles of each other in sherwood and I have the least amount of faith in this one. Take care of your business and customer base. Figure out what’s happing here and make the necessary changes. I’m not going to continue driving there to only have to drive to the next because your not able to give me what I want to order. I’m just going to go to the other one where I never have that issue. You may own all the sonics so you may get my business at the other location but at some point that location will go out of business if you continue to loose your customers trust. Read moreHonestly just a sad location right now. The employees are amazing and always seem very nice. They appear to work very hard. Which is a big reason it is so frustrating that the location itself seems to be working against them. Every time we have gone by in the last couple months, the stalls have weird visual glitches that make it hard to read anything. When paying, you just have to swipe your card and hope for the best. You cannot push the buttons to choose payment type on many of the machines. This also applies to the tip screen after you pay. I have tried multiple times to guess at where the right buttons should be but the screen is so glitched and an extra tip never comes out. Last night was the worst of all, where we tried two different stalls and the buttons lit up and froze the screens and then no one ever came on. We went through the drive thru where we sat for a couple minutes before one of the sweet kids working there came out and apologized. Their entire ordering system was down, not allowing them to speak through the speakers. She still went above and beyond and was taking orders verbally at cars and then running payments and receipts back and forth. And then their credit card payment system stopped working. Just kind...
Read moreUsing the Sonic app, we ordered a couple of items including a small strawberry milkshake. When the young girl brought it out, it had a flat lid on it. I did not recognize it because it was very different, so I asked her what it was. She said that it was a strawberry milkshake and that they were out of whipped cream. I wish they had told us beforehand instead of assuming that that would be okay. It was not okay. I decided to forgo the refund and took the milkshake home. It was rejected by the one for whom I bought it. Later I called the establishment but no one answered. Found the owner's number through another Sonic restaurant. Spoke with the owner, and she was very accommodating. She told me that they indeed had a case of whip in the cooler. Told me to go back to that store today to get a replacement milkshake. Just got home from there but did not get anything. No one responded to us after we pushed the order button. As we waited we saw another customer give back his food. He and the worker were both shaking their heads. He took a picture of the door of the building and walked off. I hope they can get things straight there and get good help again.
