Vina Express — Restaurant in Sherwood

I can’t speak to most of the menu here, but the few things we do order when coming here are excellent. My absolute favorite thing is the combo fried rice (make it 3 stars hot for some extra heat). I’ve been to some high-end, very expensive chinese restaurants across this country and vina express still has my favorite Chinese fried rice. There’s extra large, tender pieces of meat throughout and the flavor of just the rice by itself excellent. By the way, the fried rice that comes with the entrees here is not the same as ordering the combo fried rice. If you want some of the best fried rice, you have to order the actual fried rice with meat, not what comes with the other entrees.

Also, if you’re in for something a little different and just as good, try the vina fried rice. It’s combo fried rice with some extra spices (I think curry powder) and I get this sometimes when I’m in the mood for something different.

Other favorites here are the combo lo mein noodles (I order it without celery), the eggrolls, and the flavor-bomb Cho Cho beef on a stick. Seriously the eggrolls are so good and that Cho Cho beef is...

I ordered Crab Rangoon which is 3 for $2.75(so ordered 2:equal of 6 Crab Rangoon for $5.50), also Small Chicken Fried Rice for $8.75. Crab Rangoon was good portion and filled nicely but they were not very flavorful and tips were overcooked. The Chicken in the Chicken Fried Rice tasted old like it was cooked 2days ago and threw together with rice, it huge chunks of chicken and No egg, bean sprouts, couple peas, the oil from cooking it tasted old as well, had a tasted of metal from grill top. Wasn't very flavorful at all. The portion size was good. In my opinion, "it was aweful" never had I had such bad quality of Chicken Fried Rice. Disappointed. Was my first time eating here and last. I feel 2 stars because they tried and were pleasant. Although there is 3% surcharge on total bill if pay with a Debit or Credit Card.
