The Pho place we usually eat at closes on Sunday so we decided to give it a try. We spend a total of $56 got two entrees, two appetizers, and two drinks. Both appetizers were amazing. The crab rangoons and the teriyaki chickens. However, when we got to the entrees that's where things went downhill. I ordered the Mongolian beef which was marked as spicy. Not only was it not spicy, the dish had about 1.5 onions worth of raw onions. They were not sauteed until they were soft. They were still crunchy with a harsh onion flavor. I could not eat the dish. I asked the waitress if the onions were supposed to be raw. She said yes they were. 🤔 My side dish was fried rice. It had no vegetables or no salt. It was simply oily brown rice. It was inedible. My husband however had the chicken fried rice which did include vegetables and was seasoned and actually quite delicious. All in all, it was an average meal. I definitely would not recommend the Mongolian beef if you don't like eating an excessive amount of raw onions. My recommendation for the restaurant is to offer to make things right. If a dish is prepared incorrectly, simply take it back, Don't force the customer to suffer. Again, the customer service was decent except for not offering to replace the dish. And the restaurant was clean and pleasing. I probably won't return, however it is in...
Read moreI forgot to write a review when I went but my experience was so bad I am writing one later. Ordered the chicken spring rolls. The chicken must have sat out the whole day as all of the chicken was as hard as a rock. I showed the waitress and all she could tell me is she has no idea. I thought I chipped my tooth. My gf had the chicken and noodles. This is a restaurant but the quality of food was worse than a mall fast food restaurant. I will not be back here. I am not a picky eater and this is the first time I have ever complained about food to a waitress. Will not come back. I paid my food gave a good tip as it is not the waitress fault. But for future reference if a customer tells you something is wrong with the food and you can clearly see it maybe offer to recook the chicken or something. I had some other soup thing which was very bland and no taste. I used a lot of hot sauce which made it much better hence why I am not giving 0...
Read moreI have eaten Pho in a lot of cities in a lot of states. This was maybe a top ten bowl for me. It's really good and cheap. It comes with everything you typically find, and generous with the basil. The broth is flavorful without being too rich. I got the rare beef and round, I think. The rare was rare in my bowl, as it should be, but it was a bit tougher than I expected. The other meat was in pieces and some pieces were a bit unpleasant in flavor. Normally I gripe about too few noodles, but here I think maybe I got too many. The bowl seems a bit larger than I typically get anywhere else. For the price, I would have been fine if it was 10-20% smaller, with slightly fewer noodles. I would even pay a dollar or two more for better quality meat. Excellent service. Good tap water (many people take this for granted). If I lived in AR, I would come back, but I don't, so it was...
