As a company I understand your rapid expansion is key to your survival in the industry, I feel personally your prices are too high for a "sandwich" but to each their own. The new advertisements for the "Hot Pastrami" sandwich were effective and brought me into your restaurant. I visited the location on 4400 McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock, AR and met a wonderful sandwich artist, she was very friendly, spoke highly of your new sandwich and made it near picture perfect. I agree with her, it's the best sandwich you have by far in my opinion and I would recommend it to anyone that asked.
I enjoyed the sandwich so much from my lunch I bragged to my family and visited a different location, 3920 E. Kiehl Ave in Sherwood, AR and met a much different caliber sandwich artist, if she could even be called that. I ordered the same thing, your new Hot Pastrami, just like the picture, however I did not want mine toasted. She proceeded to make the sandwich, I checked out and went home to show my family and sample the pure awesome that is this sandwich. To my surprise, the sandwich was ICE cold and the bread in most parts was mushy as if it had been dunked in water. I was heartbroken, the sandwich I loved SO much earlier in the day was nothing as I remembered. I called the store and explained how awful the sandwich was and her (Grace) reply to the quality of the sandwich was “you said you didn’t want it heated” I politely corrected the young lady and said, “I simply asked for it to not be toasted” her solution was a slap in the face, “If you want, you can bring the sandwich back and I’ll heat your meat, but that’s all I can do” I said no thank you and disconnected the call.
The entire set of events did not sit with me well, nor my cold soggy “hot pastrami” sandwich. I decided today 12/12/13 I would contact the corporate office to discuss my awful experience with this particular restaurant. I called the customer service line and spoke with a “customer service specialist” there was nothing special about her level of service. As it was explained to me, “they only take messages and forward the information to the owners of the stores because they are owned by different groups or individuals.” The representative asked for the specific store information, time and date of the comment I wished to leave. The comment? I was appalled by the customer service specialist’s tone and general lack of care about my call or anything related to the issue I had. I did not JUST call to complain, I wanted to express my genuine love for their new product when prepared correctly and the wonderful time I experienced earlier that day at a different location.
I’ve called to compliment many of my dining experiences with different businesses because people are so quick to slam someone, but never stop and let people know when good things happen and when you are just WOW’d by something they’ve done.
I don’t think this letter will help, or change anything, but I wanted to let someone know you lost a customer based on this experience with the local store and then your lack of empathy among your customer service specialist. I will be sure to spread the word that Subway is a corporation that does not care. “Build it and they will come, but we don’t care if...
Read moreI went through the drive thru of this location last night. I was the only person in line and it did not appear that they had any customers inside. So they were not busy, just lazy. I made sure to double check the touch screen menu to ensure that I had correctly selected all of the meats/cheeses/veggies/dressings that I wanted. I was HIGHLY disappointed to realize once I made it all the way home, and after I had spent my hard earned money at this establishment, that my sandwich only had meat and cheese on it! IT WAS DRY AS A BONE. I completed the online survey that is listed on the receipt and they offered me two free cookies, but they would`ve offered that no matter what I said on my survey so I do not feel that it rights this injustice. I would like full reimbursement, or at the very least for the owners of this establishment to hire competent workers. Food...
Read moreThere is no curbside pickup here. After sitting outside while watching two employees sit and stand around for 15 minutes, I finally went inside to pick up my order at the pickup shelf. Then I'm told by an employee that any time I order curbside, it'll be on that shelf. Crazy idea......Then maybe y'all shouldn't advertise and offer curbside pickup. When I get home with my order, it's wrong. Someone lost their sense of measurement and gave me two 6" sandwiches when one was supposed to be a footlong. It's cool, that extra $3 I spent can go towards a...
