I went to the the restaurant after receiving a egg roll that appeared extremely undercooked to me. I was polite when expressing my concern, but the lady at the front was extremely rude, immediately yelling and insisting that it wasn’t undercooked, calling the situation “crazy.” Despite my calm approach, she was dismissive, loud, and unprofessional. Fortunately, a gentleman I believe was the manager handled the situation respectfully. He listened to my concern and understood that I simply wanted to exchange the egg roll for something else to avoid any potential health risks. The restaurant informed me that this is how they are currently serving their pork. However, I have not seen pork like this before—maybe others have, but this was just my experience. If the pork truly was raw, it’s concerning to think that a child or someone unaware of what to look for might have eaten it without realizing the potential risk. Due to the unprofessional behavior from the staff member, I will not be returning. This was my experience, others might have a better one.

Stopped in here for lunch. Upon entering, the place had a funny smell, unlike countless times that I have visited before. I let it slide. Ordered chicken and broccoli with white sauce, hot spicy and ate in. Immediately, I knew it wasn’t right as it was a funny taste and narrowed it down to the chicken. Brought it to the attention of the workers and they showed no real concern or apology. I walked out and won’t be back . Had pictures analyzed by AI. Analysis included.

I had chicken egg foo young with pork fried rice lunch and egg drop wonton soup today. The egg foo young and fried rice were very good, and I have an entire serving left for another meal! I had wonton egg drop soup, and the wontons were HUGE and flavorful! I definitely recommend the egg foo young! Also, their prices are extremely reasonable. Nice guy was working the counter. The lo mein is also delicious!

I am done!

There have been several mistakes lately.

Second to last trip I had to wait 30 minutes beyond the promised time of my lunch because “they have large order.” In front of me. I was told the order would be ready by 1230. It wasn’t ready until 105. Causing me problems with a virtual meeting.

Despite the above problem and against my better judgement we tried them again. My wife sent in the order and asked me to pick it up. I get there and was told by young kid (probably too young to work) that I need to sign the receipt. Since my wife called in the order I assumed she paid for it. It seemed reasonable. The people in there were very short and essentially rushed me out before I realized there were no sauces in the package.

I get home and there is no crab Rangoon that was ordered. The 2 St. Paul sandwiches were very greasy. This sandwich is one of the few things that brought me back. The lo mein in in a smaller package, with different noodles. Also the bean sprouts that we ordered were not in there. The egg rolls were good

So at 1015pm we get a call that the order wasn’t paid for. We paid the full amount over the phone despite the shortages and no sauces. We would happily have come in the next day to pay it. Getting the insistent phone call at our bed time was quite disturbing for essentially their mistake.

Finally about 8 months ago we had a Karen delivery driver from there scream at my kid for our family ordering too much (we have 6 people her and frequently additional guests). We usually order chinese 2-4 times a month. Our orders are usually ~$100. We tip $20 on delivery. This was too much I called and spoke to the manager. Too their credit they had the driver come back and apologize.

Frankly this is too much to put up with, there are lots of chinese restaurants and we will...

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, at the recommendation of a co-worker, and I’ve never, NEVER, had a disappointing meal. Not one. I drive almost an hour’s distance for this meal because nothing in my area comes close to tasting this good.

Service has always been expedient and polite, I don’t know names but by this point I should make an effort to: the male is charismatic and polite, helps with building trust as a returning customer to associate his charm to the brand. The female, while more business oriented, is professional and reminds me of doing business in a Chicago bodega: personable. There’s a simple charm to the place, it’s not fine dining but that’s not what the place is about.

Atmosphere reminds me of my childhood, the best food comes from homey places. I’m use to eating tacos from little mom and pop shops with old paint and open grills, and it’s ALWAYS been the best food from such places because that’s where you get the soul. Not fake decor on the walls or fancy dinner plates, but actual rooms that show their history.

I cannot recommend this place enough, any time food is brought up I mention this place. Friends, family, my customers at my job… doesn’t matter, I make a point to...
