Saturday 3/15/25 at 8:30pm went to Pop's ordered 2 cheeseburgers for my kids, I reside less than 10 mins from the location when I got home the burgers were ice cold and had the appearance of having been sitting wrapped for a long time the cheese was as if it had never been melted with the imprint of the tomato-soaked in. The buns were ice cold, the meat was dried up. I took the burger back as one of the children had bit the cold burger it was tossed. I I was refused a refund or burger. The owner and cook thought it was funny be careful ordering from this place. I felt at lease I should have been given a new freshly cooked burger or my money back for the burger. This was not the first time I have received a back meal from this place but this time I will never go back. I had to let this place know it's not good to...
Read moreWHERE'S THE BEEF??? Back in the day a true Chicago beef would be so loaded with beef you could order a gravy bread and make 2 sandwiches from one beef sandwich. pops beef has all the flavor you could ask for when it comes to a beef sandwich but they are lacking quantity of beef on their sandwiches. I ordered one the other night and there was hardly any beef on this sandwich so I called them to ask if the sandwiches were made by eyeballing and if so I felt my sandwich was a bit short of meat. The girl in the phone said that the meat is to be weighed out at 4oz and I dont think my sandwich even had that much .. They didn't seem to be too concerned about my complaint and all they said was sorry. For the price the sandwich is not worth it due to the quantity of meat...
Read moreThis place is a RIP OFF. I went Monday 5/25/20 around 230pm. First off, the prices for an Italian Beef sandwich were not listed. Instead they stated Market Price. The only time I have ever seen that was for fresh seafood. Then I asked the employees where fries were on the menu board and it took them a minute to find it. I mean really! Train your employees better. The beef was okay, however I asked for hot pepper, generally when you do you get Hot Giardiniera. I got some kind of mixture of Jalapeno and Celery mix. Back to the price of a regular 6" beef it was $7.99. Curious I looked up the pricing on Pop's website. Other locations other than Joliet have the same sandwich for as much as $2.50 cheaper. I will NEVER get food from this...
