Fatty Arbuckles Pub — Restaurant in Shreveport

I follow the karaoke circuit around the River Cities and in the past, Fatty Arbuckles Pub has always been a treat and escape from the "Dive Bars" that I patronize much more often. Unfortunately, this evening was an outstanding disappointment. The karaoke is always great, and usually, so has been the service. The service this evening was awful, putting it very lightly. One beer, a single Elderflower French 75, and a bottle of water tabbed out at $27.00. We waited 15 minutes for a second cocktail and finally decided to tab out without ever having received it. We were obviously charged for another party's drinks.

I can't rate the food. We didn't order any. We couldn't even get the drinks we ordered.

The toilet in the men's restroom wouldn't flush. I realized, after informing the bartender, that this issue wasn't addressed. There was also a constant influx of customers from another establishment coming in to use the restroom and leaving. Perhaps the other establishment should consider installing additional restrooms, if they have any at all.

All of our previous visits, Claire was our bartender, but not this evening. She provided outstanding service. I hope she's not gone for good.

All in all, I can't recommend Fatty Arbuckles Pub if you want cocktails or drinks with your evening entertainment. Consider keeping a tally of your orders if you choose to go here. I gave a very generous two stars, allowing for better service on...

What a discovery! We came here to chat and to get out of the noise. Ended up making for a perfect night. Highly recommended! The bar tenders were really cool and on top of everything we needed. Found a nice booth to hang out in and they made sure we were taken care of all night. Got a chance to chat with the chef which was a unique experience. This guy is passionate about his food and understands what it takes to put out good food. He recommended the Venison which, to be honest, I would have never ordered. Up front...it was amazing. So tender and perfectly cooked. The great gamey flavor of venison that was instantly put in check by the pesto and jalapeño sauce. Not hot or overpowering but just enough to add flavor. 2025 ~ After visiting and enjoying hands down the best smoked Old Fashion, we added Fatty A’s on our route to Gulf Shore, AL. We again had amazing service & and enjoyed the smoked Old Fashion, it’s more than a drink it’s art folks!! To watch the smoke gun fill the glass bottle and watch the smoke swirl, and inner mix with the whiskey, bitters, secret brown sugar simple syrup, will have you salivating… Thank you again from Kansas

2024 ~ We had the best time at Fatty’s, once we found it. The signage is not the greatest so it blends in with the restaurant next to it. It was well worth the search!!
