I went in and made an order for hash browns with my friend. We both ordered the same thing. Our server was amazing and put our plates in line by the cook. Our server went to the back. A girl named Alexis Houston moved my friends plate out of the way to put her order in front of my friends. When our server came back she said to Alexis 'you split this order" and Alexis threated to beat her up. At that point our server (who was super nice) took off for her apron and quit. Alexis then refused to serve us. In an extremely rude voice she said " your server is gone you ain't getting your food". She was extremely rude and told us that nobody in the restaurant was going to give us our food. I kept trying to calm her down but because she was upset with our server she was taking it out on us . A server by the name of Josh took care of us. Everyone else in the restaurant was on Alexis's side the cook said he didn't know what was going on and a guy with the red bandana had our food in his hands but was walking around the restaurant even after we told him it was our food insisting that he had to find out whose order it was. He refused to help us becausehe said he didn't know what was going on even though he heard the whole thing .we saw about 10 customers leave because the service was so bad and because of Alexis's attitude. There was even a man yelling because nobody would take his order forever 20 .A woman came up to me and said "you need to call the regional manager this is unacceptable Behavior". If it weren't for Josh I don't think I ever would have gotten my food. I want to commend him for his exceptional service! I understand Alexis was upset with the server that quit but that was no reason to take it out on a...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I really liked this place!!!
We were gonna go someplace else but they weren't opened yet and I had to leave for the road in an hour, so we decided to go here - yes it's not the fancies place around but the service and the food didn't lack at all.
We both ordered breakfast, but so you know, they serve lunch all day long as well. The portions were good, pricing was affordable, and the service was quick.
Her eggs were ordered over easy, and they were perfect. i can't tell you how ofter we ordered eggs at other places and they singed the bottom crispy or over cook them, but not here. Even the bottom of the eggs were soft and white. My scramble eggs were also done right. About halfway through breakfast, she ordered a sandwich to go for lunch. Which she told me was still good hours later.
The only thing we weren't a huge fan of were the booth were kinda on the small side, great for when it was just us, but if we brought the kids they would need to sit in a separate booth...overall though we left happy and satisfied, and making plans to return...
Read moreVery upset. I walked inside was greeted nicely by an African American gentleman that work there. Upon me getting ready to sit in a booth. The manager I assume which is a White lady on the morning shift proceeds to tell me I have to sit at the bar top or low bar top. Mean while I am pregnant with an extremely large belly. And all the booths are empty at this time. I confirmed I don't mind sitting low because I can't sit up high. So I view the low seating area that are occupied but also seems very uncomfortable. She proceeded to say well you have to sit at one of them but not the booth. I'm very livid. A old lady African American said ma'am she is pregnant, you can see she is going to be eating for to. I proceeded to the older lady not to explain anything because there is absolutely no way this Waffle House manager should have been that oblivious to my belly and the discomfort I would have been in. So I left. Waffle House Coperate Team should really address this issue at that location because it is very rude and discriminatory on so...
