After 5+ years, we decided to give this location a final chance to prove they deserve to be on our fast food rotation. I am happy to say EVERYTHING was wonderful. Hit and properly made. Every bit as good as the Carl's Junior we go to in Tucson. Well done.
If zero stars were an option, that would still be more than this place deserves. Ordered 2 burgers to go along with a chicken sandwich and fries. Now the burgers were ordered as follows: burger one, light mustard and ketchup. Not too hard. Burger 2, mustard ketchup, lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato. Get home and burger one was 100% plain. Burger 2 had light mustard and ketchup and cheese. No lettuce. No tomato. No pickles. No onions. The meat on both was so overcooked and rubbery it was like trying to chew gum. The fries were old. We are only 5 minutes from the restaurant. McDonalds fries are never like that and it is slightly further away. Asked for the district manager's phone number and was given a number that has been disconnected. It has been 6 months since my last visit and I will not go back EVER to this location. Tucson has two that are far superior, so when I go up to shop, I will get my Carls Jr. fix.
So here we are 2 weeks since my last review and I found out that my dad had ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon. He bit into it and it was a greasy nastiness in his mouth. Is it miscommunication due to the no English being spoken in the cooking area while 1 or 2 (ONLY) employees in the front are attempting to communicate in English to the back & then 1 of them gives up & begins communicating with the cooks n preps in Spanish ? I don't know. However I do know that this place is getting worse, not better. Even with 1 hr for lunch, if it is taking 30-40 mins to receive your food (& hope that What they bring is what you asked for) , you do not have enough time to sit & enjoy your food because you already have to leave to get back to work. It wasn't like this before. There was a heavy set, light haired (dirty blond?)woman & a dark haired, tattooed woman there & things were rt on the $!!!! What happened? Is everyone being hired soley because they are related to or know someone already there?? FIX THIS ISSUE !!! You are losing A LOT of customers & money for whomever owns this...
Read moreUpdate: After reinstalling the app it now works. I just wish it allowed me to customize or put notes with my order and scan a QR code inside the restaurant so I can order food the way I want it when no options are given on the app.
Original review: Restaurant great, app not so much. I couldn't order online and use rewards because the app just sent me in circles and never brought up a menu ☹️. There was no way to place an order no matter what I clicked on. I mentioned this at the restaurant and apparently others are having the same issue. A rewards program does no good if you can't use the rewards. There should be a way to use them in person and not only with online orders. At a later date I tried again but the app never recognized or allows me to set the location. Therefore I could still not place an order...
