Crazy Bato — Restaurant in Sierra Vista

I stopped by after a very long day of work (that was supposed to be a relatively short day) to pick up a peace offering for my husband who was disappointed that I worked so late. I opted for the very berry crepe - I wish I had taken a picture because it was truly a work of art! I had a nice coversation with the owner while I waited and was pleasantly surprised that he noticed the hospital logo on my jacket and gave me a discount for being a healthcare worker! This cool little ice cream/fresh fruit drinks shop is nestled in a quiet little corner of the Safeway plaza in Sierra Vista. The shop has been around for 15 months and the owners Juan and Vena are so friendly and inviting that you already begin to find an excuse to love the place. I just recently visited this place and was sadly disappointed with their version of the “chorreado” the corn was not properly drained and it was served with the water and covered by a thin layer of cheese at the top. It was disgusting. I couldn’t even finish the tostitos because they got soggy quick. I had to throw the whole thing away.
