Chinese Gourmet (Yang's) — Restaurant in Sikeston

One of Sikestons more popular eating places. We use to go 2 or 3 times a month. I loved there mash potatoes 🥔 and gravy. Best you ever eat. But now they only put it out at a certain time. It's not on Buffet all day everyday no more. Same with walnut 🍤 , and other foods. Sad to say we never go anymore for those reason and others I will explain below. This use to be the go-to spot for my family and me. We went so much they knew us all by face and names. Even remembered what food we like when i would request food that wasnt on Buffet. So We are a family of nine. Three boys, four girls, my wife and myself. So out to eat is not always on our budget menu. Just for my wife and I to go eat at any place is a starting minimum of $20+. So 9 of us yes a lot. However China Buffet use to feed all of us for ab $45-50. But now, $75-80+. And we even all get water to drink which is free. If you get soda/tea to drink (which has unlimited refills while eating) is $2.50-$3 pre-person. So even$2.50 × 9 is $22.50 just for drinks. So the outrageous price for my big family is another reason why we dont go anymore. I never take time to write reviews, but this place was so good I had to. We were passing through on the Interstate and I was craving Chinese food. It's a few miles off the highway, but absolutely worth the 10 minute detour. You know you picked the right place when you pull up and the parking lot and drive-thru are packed. So much food and so cheap! Great place!!!

Avoid this place when you can. It doesn't deserve a star! Lady taking order was rude and disrespectful! Need to make it known that its cash only prior to customers coming in. After i ordered and waited all that time before she could take my payment when she saw my card she freaked out and kept saying no take cards. Glad i am from out of town and never have to pass this...
