Upon entering… no one in the lobby or at the counter except us… Tracy the manager was standing at the bagging station and after a few minutes came over and said “we’re ready when you are.” We had been standing there a few minutes already and was clearly ready to place the order… she turns her back and went back to the bagging station. We stand there another few minutes then she finally came back and took the order. We waited and waited as others got their orders who placed them after ours… One girl said have you placed an order? I said yes a long time ago. She didn’t look to see about the order. So I got another girls attention and told her our order number and what we had and I thought she would go over and handle it for us. NOPE. She proceeded on to do her thing. So finally I spoke loudly and said “hey excuse me I need a refund” as I’ve been standing here for over 15 minutes. Oh then people wanted to see what the issue was. SMH. We got our refund and got out of there... I was an employee at McDonald’s years ago and this kind of thing should never happen. Long line of customers as 2 employees decided to go on break. What is a business that doesn’t take care of their customers? A dying one....
Read moreBefore we went into McDonalds, my sister bought an ice cream from down the road. I told her she couldn’t have it in my car so we stopped at this Mcdonald’s so she can eat it really quick. We all decided to go in and sit in the air conditioner and brought in our drinks from earlier that day. She didn’t have a spoon for the ice cream and decided to throw away her empty cup on the way to the counter to ask for a spoon. The manager told her she couldn’t do that (assuming that she was going to the drink fountain) and she came back. I laughed that she thought she was getting a drink when she was obviously walking to the trash can. She stopped helping a customer to come to our table and tell us to leave. I tried explaining that she was not getting anything to drink but she cut me off and forced us to leave saying that we were not allowed back and even threatening to call the cops. Read moreNot really sure how the store located near Walmart won an award for friendliest store. I mean, I suppose they have the fake politeness down, but their service is not that great and their food is even worse. Service is slow, orders are wrong far too often. I ordered a Quarter Pounder and fries recently; the fries weren't completely cooked or salted... so half the fries were cooked and salted, the other half weren't completely cooked or salted... and the Quarter Pounder had ONE onion sliver on it. Yes, you read that correctly... the burger is supposed to come with onions on it.... and mine had ONE ONION SLIVER (so we're talking one little bitty piece of chopped onion) on it. These sorts of things happen far too often. I'm also not sure why another drive thru speaker was added... another window wasn't added, so the service/speed is still the same as it was before. The extra intercom just allowed more people to pile up in the line waiting...
