I'm giving two stars because nobody got sick, but this place is not qualified to be a restaurant in our experience. Lowest quality kitchen I've ever ate from outside a school cafeteria. To be fair, I've only had two experiences:
Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. And ;Wrangler's owners, please hire some experienced cooks and get the kitchen quality up. The liquor store adjacent to Wrangler's is a great addition to the town. ...
Read moreI'd give this place a 0 if I could. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes before some one came and asked us what we'd like to drink. The gentleman, bar back I think wasn't even our wait person either. So after about 25 minutes our waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to order. 25 minutes really!!!!!! Pretty damn sad, then it gets worse. My girlfriend and I both order. She order a small steak and I ordered some fried chicken. While we were waiting for our food we notice the brought out customers food sitting next to us. The ladies food was way late after they brought our her husband's and they got a to go container. Another customer had been waiting for some time to and we over heard the excuse was they dropped his dinner. After one hour and I do mean one hour, my girlfriends steak came out. They waitress told me they dropped my chicken on the floor and never did anything about it!!!!! What BS!!!!! I asked for the manager and she came over. I told her what happen and she said they were having issue's with the kitchen. I then told how we watch a table of 5 sit after us and they got there dinner about the same time as my girlfriends and another table of 2 the same thing. The manager didn't even offer to comp the steak they did bring out. I told her to just bring my ticket. The waitress came out and said she did discount the meal they did bring out. Which my girlfriend said was not very good. I paid my bill and tipped the guy who brought us our drinks at the very beginning. I doubt I'll be going there again. The waitress stopped by the table next to us very often and checked on them but rarely came and checked on us too. Pretty poor...
Read moreI wish I lived in the area to come to this restaurant all the time. It has such a rustic and hometown vibe, that everyone feels like your friend. Our service was incredible and the waitress was super friendly and helpful in suggestions and getting our drink orders in just in time for happy hour. The host was super sweet also. I love the set up and layout of the bar and restaurant also. Bonus: there's a little TV at every outer table! They bring out a loaf of jalapeno bread that is home made and delicious! My only suggestion is the have the butter softened because it was really hard to spread the little hard pats of butter! The ribs were great and I love the side salad that you can get at the fresh salad bar. I got a giant baked potato with all the fixings with my dinner. My mom ordered the burger and we were impressed with the giant, juicy burger. My daughter ordered the chicken nachos and they were so dang good that as full as I was, I was still stealing some of her food. Even the refried beans were out of this world! So the prices were great, and I was shocked at how much food we got and 20oz beers for so little. On the way out I was curious what this other door led to and it was their own separate liquor store! It had such a fantastic selection of liquors and other neat stuff including moonshine soaked cherries that I bought! We are sad to leave because this is a beautiful restaurant that's going to be around for...
