Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Silvis

Worst drive through in all of history. Spent 10 minutes wrapped around the corner and the only time we moved was when the car in front of us got out of line to leave. We followed suit and never made it to order. Do not go here unless you want to wait as if you you just sat down at the slowest eat in restaurant you've ever been to and have all the time in the world. I have read the other reviews on their service at this location and the owner always responds to say "thanks for letting us know", but obviously this is an empty response as it does not seem to have gotten better since the other reviewers posted about the bad service.

Update: Tried again today, one car at the menu board, 3 in front of them. They were finally allowed to order and move forward (after the cars moved in front of them many minutes earlier), we get to the board....please wait to order. We got in line at 912, left the line at 921 without even ordering. Worst drive through ever. Do not go here. DO...

First off, I am normally a fan of sonic. It’s one of my favorites. That is why it is so unfortunate that I have to rate this sonic so low.

I went to this sonic two days in a row and ordered a green tea both days. They showed up as green teas on the screen and and showed up on the receipt as a green tea. No problem. Well today I was told that they do not carry green tea. I told them I had ordered it the past two days and nobody mentioned that they didn’t carry it. I asked if they were just out of it but they said that they hadn’t carried green tea for some months. When I told about me I ordering it the past two days they just handed me my food and practically told me to just leave. All this after sitting in the drive through for over 10 minutes with only one car in front of me. And of course once I received my food it was barely warm.

I would not recommend this...

Alright, so my boyfriend and I went the other night around 10pm-ish and the intercom system was completely BROKEN at the drive thru!!! Felt so bad. Also, there were like 4 employees working and they were backed up!!! BUT, MARIA WAS THE GLUE HOLDING THE WHOLE PLACE TOGETHER. She came out to the car, took our order without pen and paper, and got everything perfect! The other employees were arguing with one another in front of the windows, which I found humorous, however, my boyfriend pointed out that it was unprofessional. But, Maria really held everyone together as a mediator between the other employees and keeping the customers well informed while in crisis mode. So, these five stars are for you. You go girl.
