Title: A Gyrating Journey into Gastronomic Glory at [Sarg’s Philly]
🍽️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you've ever found yourself casually strolling through the streets on morning side , ruminating on the quintessential existential question of 'To Gyro or not to Gyro?' then [Sarg’s Philly] is the place that will put your mind, and palate, at ease!
Let's cut straight to the chase: their Gyro is to the average wrap what Michelangelo's David is to a stick figure sketch. It's a masterpiece of flavors, meticulously crafted with succulent slices of marinated meat, ensconced in a warm, inviting pita like a gastronomic hug. Now, let's talk about the Tzatziki sauce. Oh, the Tzatziki! It's cool, it's creamy, it's a gastronomic Greek goddess in its own right, gracing your taste buds with the right mix of cucumber and dill that could make Zeus himself thunder with delight.
And if you're not into mythological metaphors, let's put it this way: this Tzatziki sauce is the culinary equivalent of finding a hundred-dollar bill in your freshly laundered jeans. It's unexpected, it's exciting, and it definitely makes your day better.
But wait, there's more. Yes, the Gyro is celestial, the Tzatziki is divine, but did we talk about their Philly Steak? Because this, my fellow foodies, is where [Sarg’s Philly] ascends from being just another eatery to the Olympus of irresistible eats. Their Philly Steak is not just a sandwich, it's an experience. It's a melty, meaty, mouth-watering magnum opus that whispers sweet nothings to your senses while also doing a joyous jig on your jaded taste buds.
If the Gyro is a charming Greek diplomat, the Philly Steak is the charismatic American cousin who brings the party wherever it goes. It's a symphony of sizzling steak, perfectly sautéed onions, and an avalanche of cheese that's so good, it could bring about world peace, or at least a temporary truce in your hunger pangs.
So, if you're still reading this, stop. Seriously, stop. Go to [Sarg’s Philly] instead. Because the only thing better than reading about their food is eating it. And remember, while you're there, tell them you're looking for a flavor fiesta, not just a meal. They'll understand. And, trust me, they'll deliver.
Final verdict? Five stars. Two thumbs up. And one seriously satisfied stomach. 🌯🥙🥩🧀⭐👍👍

Read morePlace is located in a former corner cafe. It still has the older diner feel to it, while trying to be modern by some wall TV’s and such. It was relatively clean, leaving most the mess to be on tables that hadn’t been cleared or cleaned yet after customers left. Staff was friendly dealing with a steady flow of customers coming to check the new place out. We bought the combo baskets for $4 more. Fries were sparse in both of our meals and could have used more for the additional charge of fries and a super cheap fountain drink. The paper used in the baskets should be rethought. Not sure if a good solution, but the sandwiches were laying on their side, and the cheese that melted out of them, came into the checkered paper (I submitted a photo). We had to spend time peeling the meat and cheese off of the paper, and then spend more time peeling the ripped paper out of the cheese. That was quite annoying. The sandwich meat wasn’t near as flavorful as others I’ve had elsewhere, and also seemed a bit skimpy for the amount of bread it comes with. I generally try to give places at least a 2nd try, which I will at some point here. However, how we both felt was, if someone asked to meet us here, we would probably accept, however, we would likely not make it a point to come back here on our own. It wasn’t terrible, but there are too many great options out there, and this just wasn’t a stellar option for us. Knowing that places can have growing pains and learning curves will likely bring us back at some point. Hopefully this place is reading their reviews and making changes...
Read moreI do NOT recommend!! our check was astonishingly expensive!! no one ate our food, the ranch was liquid and seemed as such someone double dipped already and me and my family were so disappointed. My burger did not taste normal. My pickles were soggy and old and all of us spit them out immediately. The service was okay but the food…. on the other hand we all wasted money. The owner was very nice and I respect that from him!! I respectfully do not agree spending money there and the food is not worth looking into. $50 for no food eaten, tasting horrible. I do not ever recommend going, waiters/waitress wasn’t in a very good mood. I do not mean to be this person hating on others, but this bad review is so worth it. I am looking out for future references of customers. I would love to support businesses as such, but the food was horrible. All due to respect,...
