Subway — Restaurant in Sioux City

I went to buy several sandwichs,this was not a busy hour there were no other customers in the store besides the few that came in behind me. The top of the warmer was full of burnt bread, not just a little burnt but extremely burnt. The bottom shelf had decent looking, soft edible bread. I was told the burnt bread is what I could choose from and that the bottom shelf of bread was for night shift. The burnt bread should not have even been served as it was not edible. I asked the extremely rude girl behind the counter for the managers number and she told me she was the manager. I then asked for the corporate number and she told me they did not have a corporate number. I did not order any sandwiches as the bread was not edible and the customers that were behind me also seen this and they too decided to eat somewhere else. I worked at Subway as a manager for 10 years and I assure you the bread she was trying to serve us should have been thrown away as it was burnt and there was no reason that she could not have served us the fresh bread that was edible. I will not be back to the subway ever again. I know that most subways are franchise owned and due to covid I try to spend my money at local businesses but this will be a business I will never spend money at again. I would also like to point out I was buying nine sandwiches for my son's wrestling team and I had planned on buying a sandwich for myself and my husband. We chose to take our business to Jimmy John's were not only was the bread fresh and soft and most definitely edible the customer service...

Staff really needs to be re-trained. I have been in a few times in the last couple of months and every single time the service is terrible. The staff makes you feel like you are interrupting them with their long sighs that they actually have to do something. Mind you, it will take them forever to make the sandwich. But anyway, the reason for me to make this review is because yesterday, was the last straw. We went in for lunch approx. 12:30PM on 10/8/23 and 2 girls were working - the young girl with LONG hair & glasses did not have her hair pulled back and she was swinging it around and moving it with her gloved hands and I am 100% many people had hair in their food....SOOOO disgusting and honestly,...

An average or slightly above average Subway most of the time, but I just had the worst experience with the company I've ever had here. Only one guy on the counter at about 4:00pm on a saturday. Incredibly slow to prepare food, over 5 minutes just for the meat, did not properly apply seasonings, had to restock meat mid-sandwhich because it was empty before I arrived, and didn't even cut the sandwhich in half. Additionally, he was rude to another customer who was asking a question, cutting him off mid-sentance to state that he was the only one working and to wait. I don't know if he's new or just bad at the job, but I don't think I will continue going here if this...
