King Sea — Restaurant in Sioux City

Who really needs atmosphere when you take it to go right. Love the place always have loved the place and always will. They treat me well here. They know what I like and have it in the system. Gotta love that right. Great folks that work there, super friendly and helpful if you don't know what something is on the menu. Quick to explain. The owner has been nice to me for years and that's all you can ask for. Live the crab rangoon, egg rolls, and the sample platter they have on menu. General Tao chicken is my favorite dish here. Nice neighborhood friendly to go eatery on Northside. Need more like it around town. Lord knows we have enough Mexican restaurants and burger joints in this town. We could use a few all you can eat buffets is what we need with Chinese food being one. Who wants to drive clear out by the mall for that. Not this gut. I liked King Sea buffet when they had the location on 5th street. Been a min since those days. Anyway give them a try. You'll see it's good food good portions and...

Been coming here since high school. I haven't gotten to have my favorite regular takeout for years, but I recently got to come back to try it and they've still got it, most of the time.

I can't express how grateful I am that it's mostly still affordable. That makes a real difference for someone like me. Thank you for making good food accessible for the community.

I will admit that they miss some of the time, there's been a lot of variation in quality, and I've noticed a few things lately, like smaller meat portions, less flavor, and a slight dryness that wasn't there before. I don't mean to be too critical, but when prices increase, we hope for an increase in quality, too.

Been ordering for years. However tonight we ordered and got our King Sea Fried rice and the entire order tasted like fish. My wife was eating hers and came across a hair and couldn't eat anymore. The best thing that came out of our order tonight was the fried pot stickers. Other then that we wasted out money tonight. I'd call and say all this but with the way of the world and the work ethics that you witness when you go to the walk up window tounwould understand it's not worth it. All employees on their phones and you can tell no one cares about the quality of your food. We will take our business somewhere else unfortunately. And so will so many other customers until this place...
