Never did i think i would have to write a bad review for this place but here i am. Where do i start... oh my. First off, the employees that take your order are not very nice, they hardly speak to you or say thank you ever! I've been coming here for many many years, I used to love this place but just last year i noticed their meat had a lot more fat in it then usual and EVERY single time I order avacodo or something extra on my food they FORGET to add it but never forget to charge you extra worth of your hard earned money. They only give you a skimpy little bag of carrots and 2 salsas when you order more than 1 thing, like it's coming out of their paycheck. (Salsas really watery anyways) And also, I was here with my family one day and they falsely accused us of grabbing more drinks than what we ordered and tried charging me for them! They were trying to argue with me as well. Which seriously offended me and humiliated me because I've been coming here for so long and I felt completely unappreciated and disrespected as a regular customer. I told myself I wouldn't go back but I went in today after a couple months and they really asked me "HOW MANY DRINKS TOTAL??!" After I had just told him ONE coke only. Smh. I will not be back and definitely will not recommend. La Monja Blanca on West 7th is the place to go. Their customer service is excellent, salsa is BOMB a f, and drive thru is...
Read moreI am a delivery driver and absolutely can’t stand picking up from here. The owner’s need to learn how to treat people. Tell you to get the food out of the window when the food order is not complete, knocks the counter with his knuckles and whistles when the order is ready as a way to say come get it, instead of just communicating in a respectful manner, makes you wait no eye contact unless it is on his terms, at the drivers expense. I have also been harassed in their parking lot by two men that seem to be being used for these people. One of them was their own spanish only speaking “homeless” actor/plant/informant 3rd parties who they use to run the real homeless population out. The other was his driver who dropped him off to “panhandle.” Disgusting. I lived on the streets, experienced what it was like to live at a shelter, in my car, it is serious upsetting they are participating in such tactics. I say don’t give these people your money. Go somewhere that truly appreciates you and takes great care in their business practices instead of...
Read moreThis is not easy to put into words when trying to describe this hidden gem of Souix City Iowa. The authenticity is on point. The service they give you with may not be the friendliest because they are always busy. The woman taking the orders of my co workers and myself would quickly take orders not only over the phone but in person and expidite food for customers as well. She moves at light speed and is fascinating to see her work. The kitchen is well organized and clean and runs smoothly and efficiently. The food comes out quickly even in a large rush. The food is soothing refreshing and filling but not heavy like fast food. The tastes just on the tacos simple yet amazing. The fresh beef mixes well with the fresh and herby tasting cilantro and onion. That with some of the fresh house salsas just make for a great lunch or dinner. Did I mention the prices are extremely reasonable... They are cash only, but have a...
