I would give this place a 0 but I can’t so I give it a one the food sucks nothing is fresh it was cold the rice tastes worse then the school lunch rice the beans were not even beans and the was no white cheese at all the food tasted awful and the only good or okay thing was the drinks it not only tasted awful but it smelled awful this should only be called an American restaurant not even claim to be sort of Mexican this restaurant is a dissatisfaction to other Mexican restaurants I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone at all it was the worst place I have ever eaten it was completely awful the food was dry and the meat is dry and not cooked with any seasoning this place should be shut down I left hungry because the food was so bad and left throwing up the food I ate 10 minutes after I left the food they got at Walmart in packages the beans in a can would be better then the beans I was served the rice they got the recipe from a school lunches menu this food was beyond horrible and the waiting time for the...

I am a huge fan of mexicana food and after moving to the city I started asking around about must try mexican resturants and the name Navarette's came up quite a few times so I figured I would give it a shot (only 1 person had told me the food was not great, but I figured they were just a outlier)

The atmosphere was very nice, not too loud and you felt like you had privacy to enjoy your meal. The servers were also very nice and accommodating. However the food left much to be desired.

We ordered the Taco Grande and the combination chalupa. They were both absolutely abysmal, the olives tasted like they sat in a jar with dirty dish water and the the taco grande somehow tasted soggy and stale at the same time.

In summation, if I were to succinctly describe this establishment I would say "More like...

Good chips And salsa that are no longer free. I notified the owner that my half taco salad had hardly any meat at all. That i could've got a taco and broke it up & made my own salad. He said large taco salads are like a dollar more. We ordered chips & salsa and were not asked large or small so with my 10 chips on my taco salad we didn't eat but a few of the ones we bought. I also told him it was the same last time we went there. Little meat. And the mystery bills are exciting. You have no idea what you were charged per item. It's just totaled & circled. The lemon my husband asked for his pop was old & over refrigerated. I'm glad other people see the meat shortage! He acted like it was no big deal. We are long time customers and love it there. I hope Diego reads that theres unhappy people getting skimped...
