It is unfortunate when you have cold food at a restaurant but it is worse when the Manager asks how your experience was and you say not very good. Then the manager responds with the total of your ticket. If you are going to ask the question.. be ready or at least listen to the answer. This was another customers experience while we were waiting to be seated. Keep in mind the restaurant was virtually empty, we asked what happened. The elderly woman explained she had a long wait for food that was served cold .Shameful.! So on to our table.. the condition of the dirty bathroom with the deferred maintenance issues eludes to issues with overall cleanliness and maintenance. If the public areas need attention I can only assume the private areas are worse. I ordered the turkey dinner that came with dressing, cranberries 2 sides and a dinner roll. My food was served hot. I was missing the dinner roll as was another member of the table. I ordered the spring veggies as one of my sides but got Asian veg.. no folks they are not the same.. The turkey was a little dry but overall tasty, the dressing was what I would expect an the potatoes were delicious. Be prepared to beg for refills as they won't be offered and even when asked for may not be delivered... Note to management.. if you have been asked for a refill for one person at a 4top. .ask the other guests if they need a refill and be prepared to bring them. The apathy of management and wait staff make this a no go in the future. To add insult to injury... A member of my party forgot to use his coupon which would have meant a significant savings to the table, when he went immediately back up to the manager on duty . He was told too late.. there is NOTHING we can do now. No sorry no offer of something else. The person being denied is a very regular customer so to me that says we simply don't care enough about you as a customer. Keep in mind they brought in new customers with the. Again... SHAMEFUL. After being seated in your establishment, I sat for more than 10 minutes with no service. Your place had less than 5 customers, 3 black shirts and 1 regular shirt working the floor, they even sat other ppl and served them...Still I received no service.

As I left your business walking past the plain shirt, seating new guest and two black shirts, who were acting too busy to look my way. No one said anything, not a good buy... come again.. are you ready to check out, nothing. I got to my car, saw one of the three black shirts leaving and decided to go back in and ask one of the remaining two black shirts what happened to my service. I politely showed the young lady where I was sitting, which was in clear line of sight from the cash register. To which she replied oh the Lighthouse no one's working that area...
Now, reasonable deduction tells me that young lady who left at the same time I was leaving was the one serving the lighthouse. I came right before she was about to get off and she made a judgement call to allow me to sit there un-serviced because she only had ten min on the clock. Ten min she got paid for while not servicing your guest. It was her lost as she missed out on the nice Tip that me and my co-workers pool together to take care of a random blu collar worker every time we order.
This was a disappointing experience, I took our money to another Perkins right down I-29. Saw it was across the street from a competing restaurant and decided why should we still patronize your establishment after the service I received at 158th and Gordon Dr? My girlfriend's food was terrible. Like I'm talking the quality of hamburger meat made me and her both gag. So we did something we never do. We sent a dish back for the first time in 12 years of our relationship. And simply ask for chicnen tenders as a replacement.. Because what idiot can screw up chicken tenders? Kitchen gets a word We're not happy with her dinner and that we wanted chicken tenders instead.... So instead of cooking fresh tenders. She took the left over tenders that were used for my meal from almost 50 minutes ago... The time they got to my girlfriend they were under a Heat lamp for so long they were almost inedible. That's so-called a "melt" they serve.... Mystery meat. We just ate burger King and they blew perkins out of the water. We will NOT be returning here. The service was completely below par, the food was a spit in the face, and the whole experience has turned away our business for a long long time. Go get fast food! It will be much better than this garbage...
