The absolute cutest cafe tucked away in a rustic adorable neighborhood. Very small and popular right now being new, so during peak times you won’t be able to just walk up and get a table. You need to be strategic and join the waitlist online. You can do this ahead of time before you even get there; however, you are welcome to order your coffee and sit out on the patio during the off season while you wait for your table. They even turned the fire on outdoors for those waiting. We bundled up, but it was so fun to hang out on the patio on a crisp fall morning. There is likely less of a wait during the summer months when the patio is opened up to table service. Inside, is very cute, but quaint. Only seats about 20ish inside. You probably wouldn’t have much luck having a party size greater than 5. Coffee, food, baked goods, are all 10/10. No kids meals, but our daughter always finds something on the side dish menu to make her own “kids” meal. They don’t rush you through your meal by any means, but do be courteous of those waiting during peak times. It would mess with their projected “wait times” if you’re sitting for an hour sipping coffee chatting with a friend. We spent about 30-45min at the table since we usually have what we want picked out and service is quick, and probably 15-20 min on the patio prior enjoying our coffee. We will be back again and again now that we have their system figured out! Staff is so efficient, kind, and are great at managing the stress of brunch hours on...
Read morePerch is a relatively new addition to Sioux Falls, offering a quaint and charming atmosphere. With a seating capacity of approximately 18 individuals, this renovated establishment also features outdoor seating, although the exact capacity is unknown. The ambiance is bright and inviting, while the servers are notably kind and friendly. Although the menu options are distinctive, the selection is somewhat limited. Initially, we attempted to visit on a Saturday morning but were deterred by an excessive wait time of over an hour, prompting us to dine at Josiah's instead. We revisited on a Friday morning and were seated promptly without a wait. Our beverage orders, consisting of coffee, latte, and tea, were served promptly, albeit at a premium price point. We proceeded to order our meals, which were served efficiently. However, we experienced a minor delay in receiving requested condiments, requiring multiple inquiries. Fortunately, the food was exceptional. Nevertheless, we believe the prices are somewhat inflated. To remain competitive with downtown Sioux Falls establishments, Perch may consider revising their pricing strategy or offering complimentary refills on coffee and tea. Despite this, we intend to return, hoping for an expanded menu or...
Read moreUpdate: After dining in and ordering to-go multiple times, this establishment continues to be my favorite breakfast spot in Sioux Falls! Some meals have been better than others, but it’s very clear that this business is fine tuning their menu and practices consistently since I left my last review 4 months ago. The details do not go missed and they are doing such an amazing job at listening to feedback! If you have a penchant for delicious food, charming atmosphere, and neighborhood community, this is the place to go. I’d just remind patrons that this is a brand new shop and it takes time to work out the kinks, a kind word and constructive feedback to the staff will only make this place better! If you have a time crunch, order to go - the limited menu is still delicious. Their wait time function on the website seems to be working smoother and is more dependable!
Original feedback: My daughter and I attended one of the pop-ups at En Place Catering a couple of weeks ago and this place does not mess around!! From the attentive & friendly customer service to the mouth watering dishes and everything in between - I was fully impressed. Truly felt like fine dining, even in a temporary location. Cannot wait for the...
