GARYS CAFE, SIREN WISCONSIN CLEAN RESTAURANT AWARD 🥇 FRESH CLEAN HOT FOOD AWARD 🥇 Stopped by for lunch Friday July 15th around 1:15 pm. Great cafe atmosphere, very clean store. Had a super waitress with a big smile and a great story about living in the woods with her chickens!! We ordered the days’ special, Fish and fries with coleslaw, and the Mushroom Swiss burger and fries. Also a side salad. Everything was amazingly fresh, the food came out piping hot, steaming and delicious. The special of the day was the Fish and fries. The breading was thin, not over-seasoned and very delicious. I asked for a slice of lemon too. The fries were nicely seasoned, and the coleslaw was a tiny bit bland for my taste, but it was very fresh and crunchy with a Mayo-based dressing. I finished it all. The burger was magnificent. Juicy with a large portion of dripping melted Swiss cheese over a pile of sautéed mushrooms, and lettuce & tomato as you’d expect. Also the same seasoned fries were included. My friend said it was one of the best burgers they’d ever had. The seasoning in the beef patty was excellent (patties are hand-patted daily and you can tell). In the picture, the burger was cut in half because it was huge and juicy! It is not a one handed sandwich! All food looked clean and fresh along with the establishment. Highly recommended

First time in Siren WI. Came for a wedding/weekend. Looking for a good breakfast place besides the chains, we found Gary's Rude Cafe. I love the ambience just from walking in the front door. Had a "spooky" welcome with the props and great service. The waitress was very attentive and took care of us right away. I love these mom and pop places. The food was very good! I would definitely come back here for breakfast again.

Stick to your ribs comfort food, reasonable prices, and friendly service in downtown Siren. The menu has a wide selection, including breakfast food, burgers, steak sandwiches and a Wisconsin version of Poutine. At Gary’s, the Poutine has deep fried cheese curds instead of regular cheese. The bacon cheeseburgers are great too.

This is another one of those very few-and-far-between breakfast cafe's that truly deserve more stars than we're allowed to give. Because they're always so busy, we waited until about 10 A.M. (on a weekday) to have breakfast here, thinking the crowd would have thinned out. Wrong! Apparently, Gary's Rude Cafe is slammed every minute it's open, which is only until 2 P.M.

We both had a normal breakfast of eggs, hash browns, toast, and I had sausage patties. I know there shouldn't be anything special about those items, but there was. The eggs were cooked perfectly, just as we each ordered. The hash browns also were perfect, crispy on the outside but still moist and hot inside and not at all greasy. My sausage was excellent.

Even though every seat in this small cafe was filled, the room didn't seem overly crowded and the service was excellent. We could still carry on a conversation and our server didn't miss a trick. Something I always do is look around at a restaurant's cleanliness...this place was spotless.

Parking is very ample since seating is limited and like the restaurant itself, even the slanted parking spots on Main Street give you a comfortable small town feeling. If you're ever near Siren, WI, you really must try this wonderful breakfast destination, you'll be very...

The food was good. I had French toast, bacon and water with a lemon, but the girl said we could not have lemon with our water. I'm not sure why I asked her and she said you can't. The French toast was with thin bread. I was told it was thick toast like Texas toast. One thing I really did NOT like was the noise in there. It was louder than a bar at night! This was a cafe at 10:00am. Everyone had to scream to talk, because it was so loud in there. The place is like a big empty garage with tables in it. They need a 3/4 wall down the middle to cut the room in half. That would help on the noise...
