Wendy's — Restaurant in Slidell

Okay, I am at my wits end with this particular Wendy's! Especially the same woman I keep having encounters with unintentionally; I have been more than patient. I have never given this person my energy because she seems a little off and Im too blessed for the negative energy. Last night roughly around or after 9pm I along with my children went through drive-thru to place order, all I wanted was a biggy bag with no salt for my 2 little ones, 2 ptotatoe chives and 2 additional medium fries with without salt; I don't know why this woman felt she had to be rude to me because she does not know me, as I was placing my order she kept asking "was that all?" and I will tell her no, and continue with additional order, as I was talking she will interrupt me telling crew members, " No Salt on those fries" in a sarcastic tone, all of that was unprofessional and unnecessary...my order came up to $17. When I pulled up to the window to recieve food, the lady that took my order did not speak she just gave me a nasty look...another young lady handed me my food and I've asked her can I please have some cheese for potatoe, ive explained I was afraid to ask for some because I kept getting cut off plus there were too much going on; on top of that there were no condiment for my potatoes, I've asked if it's not a problem can I please have some sour cream, butter and a fork? They were acting like it was a problem that I've asked. Also I did not get a drink for biggy bag, the other young lady ask the crazy rude lady "if she's given me a drink" and the lady that took my order asked me is there a straw in the bag and I said of course I don't have a straw, I need my drink first, The young lady ask the rude crazy lady, "thang what didn'tyou give her?"..and my baby's fries were super salty! I don't know if I am the only customer that keeps getting treated like this, but everytime I come to this specific location, I am always faced with the same throwed off lady, I don't know her name, but I think she's either biracial or whatever with curly hair, its always in a ponytail. She wears glasses and she looks like she eats up everything in the store and don't want to share....she always gets an attitude whenever I bring my food back! She acts like she's the gatekeeper of Wendy's or something...People like her get these positions specifically bring misery to others because she's bitter and miserable...she needs to be fired affective immediately for mistreating customers that pay...

When I go for lunch things are fine. But apparently no one eats breakfast here. Twice I've been here around 9am. I'm not upset that I have to wait, and things like the iced coffee are unavailable, though why iced coffee is unavailable is beyond me. But I expect what I wait for to be good. It's not the industrial food's fault. It's the preparation. That means the problem is the culture in your store.

The thing that is really disappointing is after being made to wait for fresh food you receive their croissant, which has been microwaved. No other way you can get a croissant to have that gummy texture. It's a croissant... If you put it in the microwave you lose all the flakiness on the crust. The inside should be light and wispy, not microwave gummy. I've had it before, I know what it should be. I don't know how to fix your problem. But your staff won't have to work down the list of what you do and don't have ready at breakfast for me again. Like everyone else I'll use one of the many options right across the street. I had been going to you because Wendy's, historically, is the better, fresher tasting option.

One other thing I have a real major issue with. Why are you handing people creamers and sugars? What century are you serving food in? You hand people boiling coffee they then have to open and mix in the car? Are we supposed to hold up the drive through while we do that? Because I can't do it while driving. Y'all and BK are the only ones not doing this that I'm aware of.

Over the last few years Wendy's has tried and failed to serve breakfast a few times. That's why no one is there. No remaining faith that there will be breakfast on arrival. So then those of us who support the wendy's brand have to eat substandard food to try and support better fast food breakfast? Your results are at odds with your goals. You can do better,...

5 months ago I came here and gave them a great review. However in the last few months they have really gone down hill. Went there after work to grab a quick bite to eat. Went inside because I wanted to sit down and eat and not eat in my vehicle. Placed my order on the kiosk thing that they make you use because they refuse to take your order at the counter now. After placing my order (which was selected for dine in) I went to counter to wait for my food. Had to wait 20 minutes for my food all while one of the employees who looked to be the manager on duty was giving me dirty looks like she didn't want to be bothered by the lobby orders or something. My husband who had stepped away to take a phone call came back and asked what was taking so long ( about the 15 minute mark) I said I don't know I have seen about 6 drive through orders go out already. I understand drive thru has a time they have to meet. ( I have worked many fast food place to know this) but, to make your lobby customers wait 20 minutes plus. After finally getting my food and sitting down realized I was missing an item from my order ( baconator fries) went back to counter to tell them I was missing them they grabbed the receipt to look at it like I didn't order it. (which I had to ask for the receipt originally) ( then had to ask for it back after getting my missing item). All the while being looked at like I was doing something wrong. Now to returning to my seat to eat my food fries where cold and burnt didn't complain at this point I just ate as I was tired and didn't want to deal with any more crap. My husband order a burger ( Dave's double) which was so messily put together he could barely keep it from falling apart completely it had to much ketchup and mayo on it that it was dripping onto his wrapper. Absolutely horrible...
