From the outside, It looks like a mini-mall shop. So I didn't expect much. It was kind of small inside, and it's a cheesecake place.
The little brochure from our resort said they had the "best cheese steak in the area" which was exactly what I was in the mood for. Then again, I thought, cheesecake, cheese steak, could be a typo, but they had cheese steaks on the menu. Besides, my wife wanted something a little more exotic and they also had Korean Bulgogi Tacos. Ok, let's do this.
Wow! That cheese steak was awesome! I order them at all kinds of places and am usually left bitterly disappointed. But not this time! Ohh no. Great flavor, even with just American cheese (there was no whiz option). It came with some fries that my wife loved. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
As for the Bulgogi Tacos... If it wasn't for the fact that I'd been craving a great cheese steak, I would have had a rough time deciding which was better.
My wife raved about them and the bite she let me have was really out of this world. Maybe just a tad too much ginger sauce for my liking, but she couldn't get enough.
Don't let the name fool you, do yourself a favor and get...
Read moreAs soon as we walked in we were greeted with the smell of “home cooked food”. I can’t describe it any better. As I looked around I noticed how clean and cozy this place is. We’ve never been before and our server was super patient, kind and even told us her favorites. I got a Thai wrap with peanut sauce and a friend got a cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was cooked to perfection. The seasoning, cheese, meat and bread you won’t get anywhere else but from here. The Thai wrap was also so simple but delicious and flavor packed. The fries are actually good fries. You know what I’m talking about if you know your French fries. (You can eat them cold, and they’re still good). We also got a cherry cheesecake and a cannoli. The cannoli was delicious and as for the cheesecake…idk how it’s not RAVED about. This is the cheesecake you’ve looked for your whole life. Thick, creamy, heavy and sweet but all perfectly balanced to be the best bite. I can’t wait to try...
Read moreWe stopped on our return trip from WWII weekend while looking for gas. I saw favorable reviews and decided to try Bliss Cheesecake Cafe. The reviews, though 98% favorable don't do it justice. This homey comfortable atmosphere with super friendly waitress and chef exceeded our expectations. French Onion soup, the best I've had and I've tried this all over the world. Fresh coffee, and a comfort food grilled cheese on waffle toasted bread like you would dream of. My friend had a hangover burger cooked rare as he wanted with perfect steak fries. We both ordered a mini cheesecake to go because we where full from our meal. BTW. The only negative review I saw was in regards to speed of service. I can only say that that wasn't our experience and we were prepared to wait knowing food is prepared to order. But we where eating within 20 minutes from being seated. We will be back and make this place a destination while heading to and from next...
