I called an order in tonight. I wanted the grilled chicken wrap and, having a severe seafood allergy I asked if the chicken was prepared anywhere near seafood. I was assured it wasn’t. The person I spoke to got confused and asked if I wanted the Caesar wrap. I told him no because of my severe allergy and knowing that Caesar dressing contains anchovies. He said ok. I repeated that I wanted the chicken wrap that had chicken, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. After taking a few bites I noticed there wasn’t any tomatoes and the dressing didn’t taste like balsamic dressing. I immediately called and was put on hold. I spoke to Richard and explained the entire situation. He did not offer many words. You’d think that an apology would be the first thing. That never happened the entire call. Instead he had me repeat what happened several times and remained silent. I was told that the person I spoke to, who is the driver, wasn’t available at the moment as he was out on a delivery. So I asked Richard if he could tell me the ingredients in the Caesar dressing as I was sure it contained anchovies. His response, in a rude tone was “you want me to tell you the ingredients?” Yes I would so I could be sure it did, in fact, contain anchovies. He checked and all he said is yes it did. Then he asked what I wanted. I told him I’d like a refund and he told me I could come get it. I explained that my allergy is so severe and I will be suffering the entire night from this either sick at my house or in the ER. Again, no apology. I said that this is serious and he said he’s not the manager, not the owner and didn’t know what to say to me. Not the way a business should be run! As if that wasn’t enough my husband told me how much he paid and he was overcharged almost $5 for food that we could not eat. Very disappointed in this place and I will not be returning there once I...
Read moreWe were travelling from out of state. Staying in east Strousburg for just two nights. We were hungry for pizza so we Googled Pizza in the area. My husband looked at the pictures and said that Brother's Pizza was the only one that looked appetizing to him and we just happened to be parked in front because I had gone to the Dollar Tree. I read most of the reviews especially the negative ones because that helps me get a good idea of the place. Many of the negative reviews had nothing to do with the quality of the food. We had a local, which pizzeria she would suggest and it was Brothers. We went in and ordered a 16" pizza with the toppings we always get. The man who took our order and made our pizza was congenial and professional. It was a joy watching him make our pizza. It was extremely delicious; best I had ever tasted. Very sad that we won't be back because we had to go home. Only complaint was a football game was on with the volumn, but also music. It was a little distracting. Other than that we would...
Read moreThe owners here take a lot of pride in their Pizza, don't think we caught them on their best day, so we may be back to try their regular pizza. This place was considered a Pat's Pick for the Pizza Hunters App. Basically Pat Picks a Pizzeria during a Road Trip based on Highest Rating. Brothers Pizzeria had the highest rating for our traveling area. The expectations were very high considering they had a 4.7 rating. We orderd a medium Margarita Pizza which cost $18. The owner/worker was super nice and engaging. Provided excellent customer service which makes this review even more painful because the Pizza was not what I am used to. Maybe we should have ordered a regular Pizza because I am begining to find out that not every Pizzeria knows how to make a good Margarita Pizza. This particular Pizza had sliced tomatoes and super thin Mozzarella Cheese. Really insulting considering how much the Pizza cost. The sauce had an over abundance of garlic and oil. It reallt upset my stomach. The Crust was not good, not the...
