Jumbo China Buffet — Restaurant in Smithfield Township

The whole experience was horrible. My boyfriend and I arrived around 8pm, there was nothing on the buffet at all. Most of the pans were empty and those that did have a little in it were probably from 3 hours before (probably longer) When we looked at the buffet, the waitress told us that they were making more food, she never asked us what we specifically wanted. We ordered tea, which was hot water by the way. They never filled any of the pans while we were there for 30+ minutes. After having 1 plate each of food, we decided to leave. When we went to pay they wanted to charge us full price. We explained our concerns about the buffet - not a lot of options/food was old/etc. They did not care, they still wanted to charge us full price. I verbalized my frustration of how we were told more food was going to be on the buffet, the waitress said she asked specifically what we wanted which she never did. They explained that the buffet was done at 9, even though online and on their restaurant doors it says 10 - I suggest they update that. After my boyfriend spoke to the manager - we were offered a 25% discount which we paid. We will not be going back.

P.S. we have many pictures of the dryed out food and empty pans that we were “offered” if anyone...

If you are overweight do not go to Jumbo China. Google said they were closed on Tuesdays. They are completely ridiculous. Tuesday they has their sign lit up that said Buffet Open. My family has never been there I stood outside the door for maybe 5 seconds and a worker guy comes barreling out their front door and says Buffet Closed. No Food Tuesday. No Buffet Basically shouting at us Take out only...you want take out? I was like.."you gotta be kidding me.... like oh yeah.. Im gonna come and be there for hours. Shaking my head. They cannot see out their door so they musta saw how big we were on camera. I have heard they had good peanut butter chicken. But my buddy who lives in the area said they are very rude all the time. Well. For starters most of the food was good. But the fish was disgusting. Fish made my friend and I very sick. Not to mention the lady that worked there pretty much rushed us. Was there for 10 minutes and I got the bill which was 22.72 something like that I can’t remember. But after 15 minutes she says “are you ready to pay” and so I said no and about 5 minutes later she asks the same thing. I get you have a small business but there were a lot of other seats that people can sit at. We went for lunch a couple days before we came back and it was perfect. The fish didn’t taste sour.
