Ringo's Donuts — Restaurant in Smithfield

I absolutely love Ringo’s donuts but the customer service I got today over the phone was horrendous. I called to see if they had any donuts left because they are phenomenal!!! I was driving an hr away to go and get them too with little girls excited about getting donuts mind you. Here is where it gets rude. I asked the lady who answered the phone do you have any donuts left? She replies yes 👍 I said GREAT!!! Can you tell me what you have she replied ummm I am not going to tell you ALL 20 donuts we have because I have 1 customer in the store. So I said can you tell me if you have this or that specific donuts her reply was well I have many of those kinds but different so I don’t know and now I have two customers now. I replied to her where I was coming from and why I asked and her reply was well I have customers. I know I am not special in this world but I don’t want to drive an hour to somewhere to get nothing and she couldn’t take the time to answer a question of ok can I order some for another day?? We have been coming to Smithfield for years and Ringo Donuts are always either closed or out of donuts, out of donuts mean they are worth it. This time we were determined and it was worth the 3 hour trip and a getaway. These donuts are not over bearing with sugar and so moist. My husband said he can not describe the deliciousness. Sad they are not open on Sunday's or Holiday's but understand. Smithfield is the best place to get away from noise. My wife and I did a hike at Windsor Castle Park, and we felt entitled to a doughnut. We heard this place had great doughnuts, so we swung in. I had a frosted cakey doughnut. Amazing. Most doughnut shops frost glazed doughnuts; it's really hard to find cake doughnuts that are frosted in the Hampton Roads area.
