I switched to Verizon a few months ago. I got 4 lines thru the manager, Ashley. About a month ago, we added 3 watches. We wanted to keep our phone numbers the same. We have had issues since day 1 with the temporary numbers that she used when we ported our phone numbers over. The temp numbers never should've been active. But here, 3 or so months later, still having issues with our numbers. For example, we will send a text and (not always mind you...) the person receiving won't know who it is, because it's not coming from a known number. Some outgoing texts somehow are sent as the temp number and it makes NO SENSE. Also, sometimes (not always) if the recipient replies to that message, it won't be received. It's affected our lives many times, not getting important calls or messages because of the interference. I have been in the store numerous times and Ashley has been no help. The first "fix" was changing my messenger app from Samsung to Google. I don't know how that was supposed to change anything. But it didn't work. Then the "fix" was to blame the other persons phone. "Must be their phone. Maybe they have an old phone." I went in today because I just learned a 3rd line is now sending out from a wrong number. I indeed asked if the number in question today was the temp number assigned to that phone during the setup of our lines and she said yes! (She previously tried to blame the watch that i added last month for the weird issue of our texts sending from a number that isnt ours, but now another line is having the issue, there is no watch attached to that line, so she couldnt blame the watches today.) I still continue to have issues receiving texts from ppl I dont know -getting texts that seem like the middle of another's conversation- somehow there's crossed lines or something! Ashley again said she never heard of that before, and offered no solution. A coworker said twice that she needed to call xyz, and get tier 2, and do this and that. She simply shrugged it off. I asked what I'm supposed to do from here, so she wrote down a warranty number, but no further instructions. She didn't even hand me the number. She left it on the sticky pad on her side of the desk, she picked up her tablet, walked over to a couple that just walked in the door, and ignored me! Left me sitting at her desk! I asked if we were through, and she ignored me completely. I can't believe how incredibly rude she was. I left with no answers and no fix. She only wants to sell you items, she doesn't want to help fix any issue you may have. I do not recommend...

I repeated it back to him and he confirmed the price several times. He told me the price for him to transfer my data would be $150. I agreed. When he gave me the total amount owed, I asked for an itemization. He said he would print the itemization for me AFTER I paid. When he printed it, the phone was $100 more than he quoted. I questioned him and he said he made a mistake. I pressed and he said "well it is spread out over 36 months, and you bought a wall charger and a screen protector so I didn't think it was any big deal". I said "it is $100". That is a big deal". He offered to transfer everything back to my old (broken) phone. I told him the bait and switch left a bad taste in my mouth.
When I got home I saw a $29.99 fee for Redux Water protection. I went back to the store the next day and said I did not ask for that protection and requested a refund. The girl there said it is part of the set up fee. I informed her that I know it is not. Then she said the $29.99 would be refunded after one year if I didn't use the service and she refused to refund me. Adding a protection plan without consumer's permission, and lying and saying it is part of the set up plan is just wrong.
I told her that Andrew has quoted me the wrong price for the phone and first she said "he just made a mistake". Then she said they were OUT of the phones that were $1010, so he just gave me the one that was $1110. I told her if that were the case, he should have been transparent, let me know about the price difference, and let ME make a choice BEFORE he transfered all my data. Instead, he transferred all my data, then tried to just get it by me. They are scammers, and practice VERY deceptive sales techniques. I had asked Andrew for his manager's number and he said she was going to call me. I have not heard from her.

I was already skeptical because i never even heard of this brand that they had, and it was the only pair of headphones thay had in the store. So with me being skeptical and the manager seeing how skeptical I was, he told me that if i have any problems just bring them back...............Now, here it is, 6 days later this peice of junk wont charge anymore. I go back in this morning expecting the to be either reimbursed or getting another pair of headphones at the very least, if i was not able to get my money back..........This guy gonna tell me that theres nothing they can do for me and all i can do is call the number on the box and hipe they will send me another pair. So they guy I spoke to last week was in the back of the store just listening and watching. He didnt say not one word, he had his associate speaking for him. So "I asked what was the point of being told to bring them back if i had any problems with them?".........This fool got the nerve to say "he was probably going to tell you to the same thing.........call the number on the box, I dont know"...........I knew i should have waited to get back to my area and hit up my regular phone store, at least there, i know for a fact, if i have issues with any of there equipment, they will try there best to make it right!!!!!........YO, HAD I NOT BEEN IN MY WORK CLOTHES, AND HAD I NOT PARKED SO CLOSE TO THE STORE WHERE MY LICENSE PLATE WAS PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED, AND HAD I NOT HAD TO COME BACK TO SMITHFIELD.......I'D A KNOCKED DOWN A DISPLAY RACK OR 2............I SPOKE TO SOME OTHER PEOPLE THATS BEEN HERE BEFORE AND THEY LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED........APPARENTLY THIS PLACE IS KNOWN FOR THEY'RE DIRTY TACTICS TO MAKE A BUCK.
