We pulled into a car stall, we ordered in the app because we had a packed day and wanted to make sure we could get our order quickly and even though there wasn't a lot of traffic at the sonic at the time of ordering, We wanted to be helpful to the workers in order online. My boyfriend and I made orders and he received his within 10 minutes however he was missing some items and the items he received were messed up. Then 30 minutes had passed and I still had not received my food so we buzzed the Stall to check on my order and they said they'll have it right out another 15 minutes past and they finally bring out my food in total 45 minutes later and everything is cold because I can tell they made it almost an hour before giving it to me. And the receipt was messed up not showing that I should have had half price drinks and a sandwich but at this point I wasn't going to wait around to talk to somebody again. I worked in food service for 5 years so I'm pretty patient however after 45 minutes waiting in a sonic for cold food I'm quite disappointed. The workers that we talked to on the stall said that they were extremely busy and they'd have my food right out however we ordered before it was busy. I took 3 bites because I am a cancer patient who has to eat with meds and threw the rest in the trash. And im trying to get something for nothing? I think its the other way around. Read moreOrdered 2 mini blasts and a regular blast but the app wouldn’t let us order it all at once, we were $0.10 over the gift card total so we had to split it. Ordered one mini blast at the drive up kiosk and it took 10-12 mins to come out, and it was wrong. We got tired of waiting so we placed the order for the other 2 as a pickup up front and I went and waited. About 15 mins later (and 2 cars came and went after we placed the order) I had to flag a carhop down and tell her I was waiting. Someone else brought me out 2 half melted blasts. This seems to be a constant whenever we want to make a quick stop for some ice cream, we used to love stopping for a blast
I know the fast food industry is taking a major dive when it comes to customer service. Whether it’s people not wanting to work or just not caring but this level of service, or extreme lack of, is inexcusable. Steak and shake has better quality for the same money (maybe a little less).
