Roti Time Indian ( Food Truck ) — Restaurant in Socorro

This is my second time at Roti Time, and I absolutely love their food! It’s a humble food truck run by a sweet couple, serving up delicious, home-style Indian vegetarian dishes. The menu is simple and short — but every item is flavorful and satisfying.

One of the best things? Their tawa roti is just $1 each — so kind and thoughtful of them to make it so affordable. You even get a discount if you pay in cash, which is a nice little bonus.

While I do wish they had non-vegetarian options, the quality and taste of the food still earn them a full 5 stars from me. Just a heads-up: don’t be late to order — they sometimes run out of white rice and salad, especially later in the day. I missed out on the complimentary rice with my entrée this time, but honestly, I’m still happy and satisfied.

I wish there is zero star I can give I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. Very rude staff Inattentiveness and they behave as if they are doing a favour by serving truckers… I am utterly saddened by the behaviour by owner toward truckers and I would never visit this place again I will ask all my trucker family to boycott this restaurant……Hospitality business means to respect your customers, not to serve them with bad food & nonsensical arguments. I’m a truck driver so I was just passing through El Paso, TX and decided to look for Indian food so I found this place on google once I arrived I walked up and greeted everyone and was very kind to them and they seemed somewhat courteous. Anytime I eat out I always inspect my food before I eat it and luckily I did because there was hair in it so with that being said if you are not Indian I don’t recommend eating there because they are racist there was no other reason for them to do such a thing besides racism which is sad that anyone would have to stoop that low. I hope that god/gods bring love and healing in your hearts and realize racism isn’t going to move...
