Went inside because the line was wrapped around the building for the drive-thru. I was the only person in line inside the restaurant. There was only one other customer who had already ordered and was waiting on their food. 3 separate employees saw me standing at the register waiting to order. They actually look directly at me eye to eye. NOT ONE OUT OF THE THREE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED ME. I have worked in retail, restaurant, and the fast food industry. Both on the front line and in management, so I get it. When you are swamped, it's difficult to give quick service. HOWEVER, it doesn't take a half of a second away from whatever you are doing to let a customer know that you know they are there and that you see them and you will be with them as soon as possible. If you can walk and chew gum, you can bag a biscuit and say hi and that you will be with me as soon as you can. That's all most customers want... to be acknowledged. 99.999% of customers don't mind waiting for service as long as they understand that you know that you are there. They lose their patience when they're being ignored. It's rude, unprofessional, and a guaranteed way of getting a bad review. I waited 7 minutes before one of the girls finally came to the register, where she continued to display horrible customer service. The first thing out of her mouth after NOT acknowledging me was "this dine in or carry out/to go?" No .Good morning." No .HI, how are you?" And last but definitely not least, no."I'm sorry for the wait!" STRIKE TWO. Once my one bacon and egg biscuit finally made it to the counter, it was laid on the counter, and the employee's back was turned. Once again, no ,have a great day." No,"enjoy your biscuit." and having one more opportunity to turn this horrible experience around...still no "sorry you had to wait!" Like I said, been there. I understand. However, I also understand how making a busy/hectic situation into a positive experience for your customers is one of the easiest things you can do. With simple words. Simple acknowledgment. Yet this place failed miserably. I walked out the door to every single car that was in line at the drive thru when I entered the restaurant, Approximately 13 minutes earlier were gone. You live and learn. I have learned not to expect any great, professional, or pleasant customer service inside the Soddy Daisy Bojangles when the girl with the purple hair and the young man with some type of half ponytail are working the...
Read moreThe food here is fantastic. It is my favorite Bojangles. But in the 20 minutes I was here around lunchtime, I witnessed an employee getting fussed at behind the counter, while she was trying to provide customer service for me with some ketchup. And then I witnessed another employee start pulling chairs out in the dining room where she felt the carpet wasn’t clean enough. The chair in the aisle was a much bigger problem than anything I saw on the floor, and I looked. All of this seemed towards Kimberly that was trying to provide excellent customer service to me. I don’t know what kind of employee Kimberly is. She was very pleasant and good to me. And she smiled through the entire time, even with others fussing at her. What I do know is that you don’t treat employees like that in front of customers. I found it very rude, and I will have to think twice about going into the dining room again. I understand there’s a shortage of managers and a shortage of employees....
Read moreShowed up at 5am. I'm a Hurricane victim and don't have this chain where I live. The oil they used for the tots tasted a lil funny for being first thing in the morning, but was cooked correctly. Got the steak biscuit combo. Very disappointed no condiments on the sandwich but came out way better then expected. The biscuit was soft and fluffy with great flavor. Even though the steak tasted nothing like steak the seasoning on it was good. I would recommend the sandwich a 4-4.5 on taste. Ordered 2 blueberry biscuit cause they didn't have the peach cobbler as advertised. The desert biscuits were over cooked, the blueberry is fake and tasted terrible burning my tongue (not from temperature) and the icing on top which I hoped would save it, did not. 100% recommend the sandwich but nothing...
