Kay's Kastles — Restaurant in Soddy-Daisy

Years ago we would always stop in this Kay's Kastle on our way to Chattanooga and the employees were so friendly.

I am not sure who the older lady is in there now, but she is a complete witch....wow, what a horrible attitude. My son ordered a triple cone and one of the flavors tasted very bad....well, she absolutely refused to give our money back and was a complete smarta$$ saying no. My son tried to first speak to them about it, and owner(I guess she is the owner) got smart with my 10 year old son.

I asked her if she was serious, and oh yes, she was.

She had a horrible attitude towards me and my son, unfortunately, we will never enter the Soddy Daisy Kay's Kastle again.

Man, have things changed at this...

This last visit to Kay's Kastle, on Friday, July 25 th was a disappointment. Both my husband and I ordered banana splits and they were extremely stingy with the ice cream, the toppings and the whipped cream. It wasn't even really a banana split it was three tiny scoops of ice cream with less than a teaspoon of toppings. The pineapple topping was one tiny slice of pineapple. The whipped cream was two teaspoons of whipped topping. My husband was willing to pay extra to get more whipped cream and all they did was divide two teaspoons of whipped topping by three. We go to Kay's on a regular basis but lately its gone down hill. Tonight we went and walked out after waiting in line for 20 minutes. The lady in front of us had a big order but there should have been one working on the order and the other lady helping the rest of us. Ultimately we left after one of the ladys was half way in the ice cream not wearing a mask and breathing all over it while scooping. Might give it another try but too many new people not being trained well. Very disappointing bc we used to love...
