If you're on the hunt for authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, Palmas is a must-visit. I recently had the pleasure of trying their chicharrón en chile rojo, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The dish brought the perfect balance of spice and flavor—just enough heat to make your taste buds dance without overwhelming them. Every bite was rich and satisfying, showcasing the depth of their traditional red chili sauce. What truly elevated the experience were the handmade flour and corn tortillas. Fresh, warm, and slightly charred, they were the ideal accompaniment to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. Handmade tortillas are always a win in my book, and Palmas nailed them. The welcoming atmosphere and dedication to authentic flavors make this spot a standout. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine with a spicy kick, don't miss out on Palmas' chicharrón en chile rojo. It’s a dish worth savoring.

We came to visit. We stopped here for lunch. For the price, the food tasted okay. The "molcajete"-a dish of carne asada, chicken, and chorizo accentuated with cactus, grilled onions and red sauce-was served hot. It experience was complemented by the great waitress and her great personality. That's why I reviewed this as a three star experience! Some of the meat seemed reheated. I sense because I'll eat anything, I still found the meal quite tasty. My fiancee and I fashioned approximately six tacos out of all that was served. An upsetting fact was there was only one order of home made corn tortillas (3) served with the dish. It cost about $27. I thought it was a bit pricey.

The good was delicious, the place was spacious, the coffee was hot And tasty and the waitress was very Courteous and attentive. I really enjoyed coming here for lunch with my co-worker. This was a hidden nook & cranny! The best part, believe it or not was how clean And organized the bathroom was. You know what they say, if you want to know the truth about a restaurant’s kitchen, spend time in their bathroom! Loved this place And plan on coming back for sure!

Actually loved the posole I ordered to go. A little spicier than I'm used to but still worth it. The wait wasn't too long, there were two super sweet ladies working, the cook and cashier, who looked completely swamped and still managed to tag team waiting tables while making orders. The posole was actually so hot it burned a hole through the lid! Fortunately a large Carl's Jr lid fit just as well in replacement but not before spilling a few drops from the scorching hot posole juice all up on my yoga pants. Also I did order corn tortillas and got flour instead but I didn't mind. It comes with a ton of cabbage, radish, as well as lime. Really good amount too, I think I paid like 13 bucks. It fed me and my husband and left us with leftovers for...
