Mario's Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in Somers

Hi, y'all! I just wanted to leave an honest review and tbh tl:dr please order or dine in this over the top establishment if you haven't done so already and if you have and weren't too savvy please give them another go!!! 15/10 for sure!

I can not express how amazing Nicco is along with the staff, new and old. Accidents happen, and we all may stare at our main character storyline, but everyone around us is also dealing with their lives, and we shouldn't forget that. There was a slight mix-up with my bi-monthly pizza craving, and it was not delivered within its window. Nicco (again I'm so sorry if the spelling is incorrect) called and let me know not only were they sorry but they would be delivering a fresh one along with the slightly delayed one at no additional cost. I can not exclaim how solid they are as a local establishment with true flavor and freshness but do hold true to that Somers community charm. Please give them a go and dine in or order out on the slice app. Wether youre passing through, hear for work or new to the areas. Everyone from the phone, kitchen, drivers, and management are well worth the call. We were so excited to find out Mario’s was opening in Somers...and even more excited that we remembered it was open for business today! I like to test out new pizza by ordering a plain cheese. If a restaurant can make a good basic pie, they generally build magnificent things from there. We conveniently ordered & paid through the website while running errands. I’d had a question after ordering, called Mario’s, and a friendly young man helped me out quickly. Pickup was a breeze, and we were soon home with a medium thin crust pizza (you can order thick, along with numerous other options) that was lunch for 3 adults (and will be dinner for an additional adult). What a solidly good cheese pizza! Perfect crust/sauce/cheese ratio and flavors. It was doled out and devoured immediately (holding a few back for the additional adult layer).

My 4 stars are the highest rating I can give for cheese pizza, so this is no diss. I’d eat it again any day! I’m reserving that 5th star for the magnificent things I’m sure to order next from Mario’s. Can’t wait to delve into their...

Mario's has quickly become a favorite of my wife and me. The staff is awesome, especially the waitress Cindy. My wife loves the pasta primavera, which is loaded with vegetables. My wife has asked for extra spinach which they happily add.

The chicken parmigiana has become a favorite of mine. My go-to for chicken parm closed a few years ago and I've been looking for a place that could closely mirror that. I finally found that in Mario's. Their sauce is always on point and the portions are huge. Definitely get two meals out of them.

We have not tried their pizza yet because their meals are so good. They offered a special a couple of times Teriyaki Alfredo, which used to be available at Michael's Pasta in the Pan in Agawam (since closed). They absolutely nailed it.

Understand, this is a very small restaurant with not a ton of seating so it's good to make sure if you're going to dinner you get there early. This is a hidden gem located right...
