Cindy's — Restaurant in Somerset

My first visit here 3 months ago was excellent i was so happy i found a bfast place that was delicious. Well ive been two times since and those two times were not the greatest experience. Food was cooked horribly, choch chip pancakes was doused in choc chips and just made horribly, hash string style homefries burnt on top and mush inside, no seasoning. Waited over 30 minutes for our food, tables who ordered and even seated after us had their food before us and were done eating before we received our food ( same amount of people 2) , waitress was rude when asked if it was normal to take this long, didnt bring us our food, never checked on us 1 time while eating, had to ask bus boy for a drink. Needless to say wont be returning. Im very understanding with short staffing etc, there was 4 waitresses working, but the way the waitress was not accommodating or apologetic for wait didn't sit right with me. We didnt wait due to it being busy or staffed because like i stated other tables seated after us got their food before us. Not just 1 table but 2 that...

If I could rate a zero I would. My brother and his family were first timers trying out this restaurant by recommendation. It took about an hr to be seated and get their meals which was fine, when the food came out my one yr old nephew was whiny because he wanted his food that my sister in law was cutting up for him to eat. Cindy Rego thought it would be a great idea to lean over the counter and say in front of everyone “People are trying to eat here, you want to do something about that.” My sister in law was horrified due to the fact that she was doing something, she was cutting out my nephews food, he’s one, he was being a little inpatient which children do. At this point my brother picked up my nephews and left. There were many different ways this situation could have been handled Cindy. You did not have to embarrass a whole family is who trying out your restaurant for the first time. They have been out to breakfast many times at many different restaurants and have never been disrespected or embarrassed like you made them...

I was very disappointed in this place. I walked in the door and all I could see was dirty dishes and trash piled up on every empty table and at every seat at the bar except the last two seats. I grabbed the last seat and the waitress finally asked me if I want coffee and puts it i. Front of me doesn’t give me any utensils and says I’m not your waitress rolls her eyes and walks away. The woman that was my waitress walks past me and says I’ll be there in a minute, that was the longest minute of my life. She was overwhelmed for some reason the place wasn’t that busy although it looked like it may have been judging by the trash all over the place. Anyway, I found my own utensils stirred my coffee, drank my coffee sat there for another few minutes and got so fed up I threw two bucks under my mug for the coffee...
