Edit: I have to add that every restaurant will make a mistake every once in a while, its how they handle that mistake that makes all the difference. I gave them a chance to make it right and was ignored. They obviously do not care 1 bit. As you will notice, the only reviews they respond to are the good ones. That says it all about a business!!! Very poor!!

Ok, I can finally say NEVER AGAIN! I've been eating at MaRaffa's since I was a child (New Bedford location) and never disappointed. I however have tried this location multiple times over the years and have rarely been pleased with the service or food. After 6 months or so I end up trying again for same outcome. This particular time it was the anniversary of my Dad's passing so we ordered his favorite, Antipasto and a pizza. We were picking it up as take out and coming home from Seekonk so we went to this location. Get home and open the salad and absolutely NO meat and no red peppers. I phoned the restaurant and first off they spoke to me like I was lying, 2 people came on the phone and asked the same questions about the order. Never once did either of them say they were sorry. The answer I got was "Do you want to come back and get the meat?" Really?? We live in Tiverton so not running back. She took my name and address and told me that the manager would send me a gift card. Still no sorry. Needless to say, I NEVER received a gift card. We went here with my husband's dad since he rants and raves about this place but we were really not impressed. I got chicken tenders which were obviously frozen and the fries were meh and the salad was very sad. The steak and cheese my husband got was just frozen steak-ums on a huge roll with cheese laid and melted over the bread not actually in the sub. Honestly the best part of the meal was the cheesey bread we got as an appetizer. My husband had gotten the pizza previously and was not impressed with that either. I just saw the leftovers shriveled and curled up in the fridge afterwards. Didn't look very appetizing. I can appreciate that this is a small family owned business and everyone that helped us was very friendly, attentive and cheery. One of the waitresses did seem almost offended that my husband didn't finish his sub and didn't want to take it to go but we really didn't like it enough to want to have the leftovers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TRYING THIS PLACE.. NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. I tried this place for the first time on 5/17/19, I ordered the pasta w/clam sauce and the clams tasted old.. luckily I didn’t get food poisoning. Wish I could say the same for my family. My step mom and sister both got food poising from the garlic bread... GARLIC BREAD!!! Clearly the cooks aren’t washing their hands because I have no clue how anyone would get food poising from garlic bread. THE WORST PART OF THIS is my step mom posted a review on Facebook.. AND THEY DELETED IT!!! So sad that they don’t want their customers aware of their negligence.
