If I knew I'd be judge about my WEIGHT and the food would be ALL WRONG.... I wouldn't have ordered! We ordered at the Sonora, CA. McDonalds; 2 happy meals and 2 1/4 lb. combos (2a's) When we asked to sub one of the happy meal drinks for a small shake we were told that they couldn't do that and that I'd have to purchase the shake separately, and get the happy meal drink as well. I found it SUPER ODD, as we have gone to many locations and there has never been an issue and I can sub the drink on the app; why's that? Then we asked to upgrade to larges on the 1/4 pounder combos (2a's), which seemed to be no issue ,until we got to the window. AND that's when we met Phil, the Manager. He handed us our drinks and when he returned to the window, I asked why we received two medium fountain drinks and not the larges as ordered, and he explained that "we only asked for large fries", which he then stopped himself saying half-way through, and said "nevermind." in a sarcastic tone. I asked him to take the medium sodas back and he said "I'm not able to take anything back once it was handed out." again with a miserable tone of voice. Phil then turned towards a co-worker, and in front of me said, "Not enough sugar for them I guess" in a very sarcastic, derogatory, and degrading tone to which I replied "Did you just say not enough sugar? - You're right since I asked for a large drink and not a medium." I did not get a reply or even an apology for the nasty unnecessary comment. My husband entered the restaurant to confront the staff, but our complaint was not taken serious and when Phil approached my husband, Phil's body language and tone of voice seemed as if he wanted to fight my husband and had no remorse for the behavior. After my husband told Phil, that he was disappointed, that for Phil, being in customer service role and a manager that he should be written up for what he said and how he made me feel. That's when a female "1st Manager" stepped in and said that "nope that it won't happen." with a cocky tone of voice and started to accuse my husband of "assaulting" her employee because he was slightly over a line that separates the dining room/register area and refused to allow him to continue to speak with Phil. He tried to explain to her that I in fact was the one that was verbally assaulted and made to feel less then and judged for being a bigger size, but we were dismissed by her. My husband was finally able to get Phil to reluctantly apologize to me, which seemed disingenuous to say the lease. WHEN PHIL, the Manager, made that comment, he said it to be a negative comment towards me for asking for what I wanted. Which I feel was very prejudice; he has no idea what anyone is going through on a daily basis.. THIS is a pure sign of a lack of empathy on his part and....honestly shows that he is ok being treated the way he thinks he can treat others.....with no...
Read moreOrdered through the app. Was supposed to be sent to the store by tractor supply but was sent to this store instead. I double checked the location before sending my order but somehow I must have missed something. Contacted customer support through the app and was told to contact the store that received the order and cancel the order and receive a refund. Called and talked to some condescending know-it-all named CANDICE, who refused to listen to me or let me explain, just talked over me, and told me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Yelled at me that she didn’t have my order, and I was never charged so there is nothing to refund. Well guess what? I was charged and it was processed by my bank even though “I don’t know what I’m talking about”. Contacted customer support again and explained I attempted to contact the store for a refund but was basically told I was stupid and to shut up. Customer support issued the refund. CANDICE NEEDS TO BE FIRED, treating a customer like this is inexcusable, especially when the customer is right and you are wrong.
12/25/23-screwed up my order again. How stupid are the people who work here? Absolutely ridiculous.
1/3/24-surprise, surprise. They forgot half my...
Read moreOn Sunday, March 2 at 5:30 AM there was three gentlemen that were working at this McDonald’s one of them. His name was Felipe and I just want to say the best experience I have ever had at McDonald’s there. Good morning. Was there their professionalism was there their smile with Service was there and there thank you as I left the place. Was there absolutely enjoyed it I think these three guys should be running this McDonald’s I think Felipe was so professional that he should be the one running this place. I’ve been here before to this McDonald’s and the women are just nasty. They don’t smile. They are rude and God forbid you. Ask them to do something for you They have such an attitude with you. Hopefully, they’ll get rid of these women that they’re hiring and hire more people like Felipe, a real gentleman.
Although the food they served me was technically edible, the presentation was downright unappetizing. However, after discussing the matter with Atlanta, the manager, I was pleasantly surprised by her exceptional level of assistance and respectfulness. Her professionalism was truly outstanding, and I want to express my gratitude for her...
