I stopped by the McDonald’s in Sorrento, La. after work at approximately 7:55pm but I did order on the McDonald’s app prior to arriving. I chose curb side serve parking spot #4. I waited patiently until approximately 8:25pm while watching other vehicles park, wait, then pull off without any McDonald’s employee coming out to inform me or others that McDonald’s wasn’t serving Curb side customers at this time. I pulled into the drive thru line waiting approximately 10 plus more minutes before making it to the pickup window. I asked to speak to a manager. A female manager approached the window greeting me then I proceeded to tell her that I placed an order by using the App curb side and I had been waiting for 20 minutes plus for my order. The manager proceeded to tell me that only three people was at work and they weren’t serving customers in Curb side tonight and I should have or needed to come through drive thru. I told the manager common courtesy you or someone could have inform the customers that McDonald’s wasn’t servicing Curb side tonight. The manager response was I didn’t have enough people for that. I asked the manager to refund me my money. She stated to me, “ you didn’t pay me. You paid the app. I can’t refund you your money back. I ordered a large sweet tea and a large fry. I asked the manager could she give me my order. She walked away from the window unconcern without responding back. I received a large fry. They were out of sweet tea so I asked for a large coke. Read moreI show up to the McDonald’s this morning (9/1/24) at 10:30 on the dot so ready to get me 2x hot n spicy only cheese w a large fry large coke. I could practically taste it on my tongue pulling up in the parking lot I walk inside at 10:31 and go to the kiosk to place my order and notice the breakfast menu is still up. I think to myself ok maybe they just haven't flipped it yet I’ll give them a few minutes. A few minutes later still breakfast so I ask the kind woman behind the counter “excuse me ma’am what time is lunch at?” Her response tore me down when she told me 11am I have been a McDonald’s enthusiast for all 20 years of my life so I KNOW lunch starts at 10:30 and she told me 11 I have been to McDonald’s all around Louisiana and this is the first time I’ve been told lunch is at 11 I was extremely disappointed when I had to get hotcakes instead of my usual order. You may be asking “why not just wait till 11?” “Why not just come back at 11” that’s not the point the point I’m trying to make is breakfast ends at 10:30 lunch starts at 10:30 while i would’ve came back I’m under certain circumstances they prohibited me from doing so. Read moreStopped inside for breakfast at sorrento location..the two ladies at rhe front ignored us..for about 4 minutes..yes looked right at us and just kept talking and working on drive thru..the gentleman at the fry too looked right at us and no good morning or can we help you nothing..it was truly sad..no one was in the restaurant and drive thru wasn't too busy..sadly I felt racially profiled if I am to ge honest..how else would one feel if 3 people are looking right at you waiting at the register and 2 ladies were chatting and the man barely working..I thought perhaps it was just me but my adult daughter was with me..after 4 min I was helped then she was nice..sadly only after I said good morning..said thank you..then she was at least talking to me..our order was under $10 so not an issue or time? Why..why??so very sad.. I wished her a blessed day and then and only then did she respond kindly..we won't visit that location ever again..nit because of one employee but 3..this behavior should not be tolerated..I pray they...
