Broadway Diner — Restaurant in South Amboy

I had a very horrible experience. I asked about changing something on the menu and was explained it would be $1.50 per meat. I wasn't asking for extra meat, just to change out the sausage and ham. I ordered the Big Boy. Comes with pancake, egg, sausage, ham and bacon. I asked can I get all bacon instead, since I do not eat sausage or ham. And at no point did the owner or head waitress come over to see what the issue was. Even after the waitress asked how everything was, and I told her I was unhappy. I'm a supporter of local businesses but when they do not try to rectify a wrong, I can't support that. I will not be returning or recommending this...

I ordered a pork roll sandwich and disco fries, probably some of the worst I’ve had unfortunately. I’ve eaten here when I lived in town a few years ago and it was great. Maybe new owners. The gravy was sour as soon as I opened the bag it smelled so bad and the fries weren’t even cooked.
