Wings Etc. — Restaurant in South Bend

My wife and I went with our son and grandchildren. I had the grilled chicken salad with oil and red wine vinegar and my wife had the 1/2 lb double burger with fries. There was a platter of Ultimate Nachos and fried cheese curds. There were three different varieties of wings, chicken strips, loaded Mac and cheese, curly fries, tater tots, loaded fries, salsa, ranch, sour cream, Buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, Ice tea, lemonade, Pepsi and Root Beer washed it all down. My wife and I were able to enjoy a very satisfying meal for less than $40.00. My son and the kids made a feast of it, and we enjoyed the time with them. My grandkids blew more than $20.00 on a claw grab game. I think one of them came away with a stuffed critter to take home! It was a pleasant atmosphere. Lots of TV's on different sports channels. Somebody kept pumping money into the BE THE DJ digital music machine, so there was ambiance that changed with the tunes! Wings Ect. is a fun place, sports bar, casual restaurant. You can have a very good meal for less than $20.00. I assume the crowd changes in the evening and as the alcohol begins to flow. There were 5 families there at the time we were hanging out. My sons like to eat there frequently....

Click on the pic to see the two halves of my wrap I received. I asked the waitress where the rest of it. She said, “I know!” If you’re hungry don’t order a wrap. It looked like they went to a smaller tortilla and are making wraps for kids only. Worst size of any restaurant I’ve ever been too. I order wraps a lot. Better than a burger any day. I was so disappointed that I told the server that would possibly keep me from coming back. I also got a beer that was completely flat. I asked her to take it back and give me a pop. When I said she can take that beer off of our bill, another lady said, I can’t do that. I just changed the keg and you’ll have to take a beer. I explained I was now drinking a non alcohol beverage and would not like to change. She said it’ll be on my bill. Not how you run a popular restaurant and expect the word to not get out about such terrible situations they’re willing to put the customer in. So sad. I’ve spent a lot of money there and not feel like it’s taken a deep dive into being not so good or respectful anymore. Look at the wrap in the picture. My finger is on top of the tortilla. Why would anyone think this is fine? Pressure...

To begin with, this is probably if not my favorite Wings Etc. location, so to notice how bad the customer service was tonight is saddening. I arrive and the sign says to “seat yourself” so my guest and I do. We sit at the first high table. A male waiter notices us but instead goes to the cashier and starts to count his money for about 10 minutes before my guest decided to stand up and look around the restaurant for help. She finds three waitresses huddled up just gossiping. Then I ask the gentleman for some help. He proceeds to come and take our drink order while a snotty waitress under the name of “Taylor” comes and throws us the menu. I asked her to not do that and she takes one away because at that point my guest was furious and told her to take it. She does not apologize nor does the gentleman, Nicholas, for such behavior. Nicholas not once interacted with us, just dropped off food and made us feel as if we were a burden just by being there. Overall the experience was extremely upsetting, coming from my guest and I who both have experience in waitressing, it is never difficult to treat somebody...
