McDonald's — Restaurant in South Brunswick

This was the PERFECT venue for our toddler/preschool birthday party. I highly recommend this McDonald’s party package. It was an overall pleasing party, and my guests were impressed. The kids had a blast, especially with the play structure—and what kid doesn’t love McDonalds? It was a rainy day, and yet we were unaffected because it was indoors. I rate our experience a 10 out of 10 because of the value for the money, an exceedingly satisfactory party experience, and the fact that we had a phenomenal party host. Read below if you care for more details.

Value for the money – The price was comparable to local party play centers. It was an all-inclusive package for 10 kids; it included their happy meals, place settings/table cloth, banner, balloons, cake, goodie bags, cake, ice cream, 2-hour reservation for the entire space, en-suite bathroom, speaker for music, paper goods, and of course, exclusive access to the playplace & party space for 2 whole hours. Unbeatable deal.

Party experience—Booking was easy: simple and professional. The booking manager “Haddes” answered all my questions and reviewed the package guidelines. There were no surprises: An in-person cash deposit is required to book, and the only outside food I was approved to bring was a tray of fruit, which I appreciated. If it helps, all else I added on the day of my party were nonslip socks for the kids, noise makers, mini-water bottles, birthday candles, and a small ball pit since my guests were primarily 1-5 years old. So, not a lot. They also made it easy for me to add-on extra food for parents and siblings; I placed the order at the start and quickly added more food during the party. I was pleased with how they bought out all the food neatly arranged for the party; it was a nice touch. The only drawback was realizing outside kids were bummed the play space was unavailable during the time of our reservation. Still, it paid to have the space exclusively with our loved ones to celebrate.

Party host: Sanaya was our phenomenal party host—accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable! She frequently checked in for food needs, delivered the meals timely, ensured an orderly bathroom, and personally anticipated our needs (so sweet). The best part of the party was seeing the decorated space when we walked in; she was responsible for setting up, and it was impeccably clean and cleared out. When it was time to settle the bill with her at the end, we reviewed the itemized receipt together, which was surprisingly free of discrepancies despite all our sporadic food additions. We conveniently paid everything all at once. Sanaya insisted on taking full care of clean up (though we all worked together so we could quickly reopen the space again to everyone). My only advice here is to plan to bring a worthy tip (if you’re a tipper) because she is excellent at her duty as a party host. It was a pleasure to work with her.

My husband went out to order food at your store tonight. One of the things he ordered was a happy meal for our young son with a white milk, and an extra white milk. He also ordered 2 nuggets, a quarter pound cheeseburger, and a large fry. When he got home, the only thing in the kid's meal box were the fries and the toy!! Very unfortunate as we had no dinner at home for our son, who then ate the fries and nothing else- luckily I had milk in the fridge for him. He couldn't eat my husband's quarterpounder as it had onions on it, and my son won't touch anything with onions. I tried to call the store- using the phone number on the receipt, and all I got was a message saying, "No one is here to answer your call right now." As my husband had waited on the line for 30 min. already, and then he had to drive home- another 15 min, it was now getting late- he arrived home at 7:15 PM, there was no way he was going back out. By the time he'd be back, my son would be asleep for the night! This event shows extremely poor management, in my opinion, a lack of training, a lack of concern for customers, and total inconsideration for customers who have been waiting for a long time on a line, and have assumed (incorrectly) that after placing a detailed order and seeing it displayed correctly on the screen, their order will be assembled correctly! Very disappointing. Oh- and in addition, the nuggets were dry and seemed old- and pretty gross. The only thing that was good were the quarterpounder with cheese and the fries! Terrible...

Booked a birthday party for my child and was so excited but it did not go as expected ! Last year we had such an amazing experience (the play area was all decorated before the party started, I had a person there to help me out with everything, and even the booking experience was super detailed,precise and well done). This year was complete opposite. When I wanted to book the lady seemed so confused and didn’t know how to help me out. I had given them a 40 dollar cash during the time of booking(that was meant for the coverage of the play area, goodie bags, decorations). I had signed the contract, and had to take a picture of it because they didn’t even give me a copy. The day of the party I go there 30 min prior, they look at me like they have no clue of what I’m talking about, the room had no decorations and nothing was set! Thank god I had some personal items. The lady started to build a ballon arch but there was no time, guests were about to come and I had to stop her! No decorations, no goodie bags were given (like the contract said), in the contract there is a set price per child and it doesn’t say there are taxes included per child. I’m just overall very disappointed with how disorganized it all seemed. They didn’t seem prepared at all compared to last year. They told me management changed, I definitely suggest to be better organized for...
