I just picked up my moms cake for her 59th birthday party and completely unsatisfied with the service I received. The cake I ordered 48hours in advance was supposed to say āHappy birthday AIDAā, but instead they wrote āANDIGAā ! Even though it was the wrong name I still needed the cake so I asked if they can compensate. The young lady up front (who was kind and only did as her superior asked) went to ask her manager Romana only to come back and tell me nothing can be done. I then asked to speak to the manager in person and was told I couldnāt, āthe manager doesnāt speak to customersā, is what I was told. After waiting 45 mins for the manager ROMONA to come out I finally got a ācake managerā on the phone to tell me I can have a mold chocolate cake!! A $50 cake I spent with this company to only be dismissed by the manager who wouldnāt speak to me regarding an issue a customer had, to then wait 45 mins for a mold lava cake I can get a Supermarket. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not recommend this place at all!!
PS- while I was waiting another customer who was attempting to buy bread from the counter asked the cashier if what she saw on the bread was mold, the cashier said yes and apologized. Lol what a joke.
This business is a joke and so is...

Went in with two other people for a cake tasting. MiL has been using that bakery for birthday cakes for YEARS. We had just come from a catering tasting earlier (with Chez Alice) where we'd had white-glove table service, and top notch food, and we never should have left.
We were told to ask for Maryella. They'd lost the appointment. No, she hadn't lost the appointment, she might have been told about it earlier in the week, but how could she be expected to remember. She could have us taste things, but she couldn't take orders. Maybe they'd remember to call us if we left our number.
This appointment had been scheduled weeks ahead of time and confirmed earlier in the day. The three of us ended tasting glops of frosting that she plopped on a single, four-inch styrofoam plate for us to share - served with two plastic forks and a spoon sticking straight up in the air out of the frosting glops. We were to eat these in a deli that was so dirty, two hours after the end of a lunch rush, that had potato chips and chunks of lunch meat were on the floor.
The service we received was from a woman named Maryella, and their other staff seems to consist entirely incompetent teen girls and the head of the baking department who was also pretty unfriendly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad ordered a birthday cake for celebrating a friends birthday. Had asked and paid for a few extras decorations on the cake which they forgot to add. They also forgot to write "happy birthday" on the cake as well. So had to stay there till they figured out how to do that. Apparently, the folks working there were not sure if they could do this on the red velvet cake we ordered, so the work around was to write it on a cookie and stick it on the cake. Needless to say, the cake now looked horrible! However, I jad heard so much about the great cakes Pierre has, I was hoping the taste will make everyone forgive the looks of the cake. Wrong again! Cake was very average. I have had better cakes from large grocery stores. These guys really need to get their act together. Would not recommend this place to anyone after the experience we had. PS, it is also a herculian task to find the entrance to this place. Seriously, that shld not be tough. Put...
