We eat with "Billy and Miss Soula" (Greek immigrants) and their wait staff every week and have done so ever since they opened about 15 years ago. It's not the place you take people to impress them with stunning decor, ambiance, and liquor. You take them for the food that is well-prepared, the servings more than ample. Most recently, I ordered a ribeye steak sandwich for the first time, thinking it would be a cut of meat just fitting on a hamburger bun. It was brought out open-face and practically filled both buns. Long story short: I took home more than I ate in -- a common experience for my wife and me. She had spinach pie, served with a side Greek salad, and she took home probably half the pie and salad. We are not trenchermen, nor are we light eaters. They have Greek and Italian dishes and an array of meats with sides, sandwiches, salads, omelettes, gyros, veggie plates. Billy and Soula treat their regular customers like family. Billy often hugs the women and warmly shakes men's hands. He frequently slips fresh fruit into your pocket or puts a slice of pie or cake you didn't order into a take-home box. The only reason I didn't give them five stars on the food is because the onion rings, that I paid extra to get, were kind of bland without any salt, but when I added the salt, they were better. We both left stuffed and my husband is an eater.

The outside of the building, though there is no grass, is decked with very well taken care of and attractive plants. The inside was very nice. With a lot of restaurants in older buildings, the inside is usually sticky, dirty and dusty. When I saw all of the decor on the shelves, the first thing I expected to see was a lot of dust. They were clean, not dusty. The tables were clean and not sticky. The whole place was clean.

The wait staff all worked together to seat us, take our order, bring our food and refill our drinks. They were very friendly and competent.

THE PRICE! The price was more than reasonable. We probably would have spent more if we'd gone to a fast food restaurant.

I had ordered the seafood combination and my husband had ordered the Turkey and dressing and when the food came out I tried it and I did not like it and I respectfully told the waitress I do not like the scallops or fish but the shrimp was perfectly fine, She was respectful and went and told She was respectful and went and told I guess a manager.
