Burger King — Restaurant in South Carolina

This place was by far the most horrible fast food restaurant in South Carolina! I would not recommend this place to anyone! All the workers there seem to really hate their job and customers. The woman that takes your order does not say anything to you, about anything, she just stands there looking like the world is about to end. Two guys in the back just playing around with each other. After our orders were placed, she just slammed down 2 empty cups on the counter. My guest and I went to fill our drinks and the drink machine wasn't even working, all you could get was a little bit of ice. My guest was still trying to figure out if she was doing something wrong with drink machine, so I was just curious what maybe going on with our food. I step back a watch the 2 guys, 1 of them wore gloves while making our meal. We both got onion rings with our combo's and 1 of them just took the package that they are served in and scooped up 1 order with it and took another and did the same thing. It wasn't even 5 or 6 minutes after placed the order that our meals were ready in a to go bag. My guest was still trying to get the drink machine to work! I got our food and she just took the cups up to the counter and told them about the drink machine and asked would she please fill our drinks, the lady did. I got hot sweet tea, no ice! And they also had no Zesty sauce for the onion rings, if I would have known that, I would have just got French Fries! My guest got a Whopper Jr., onion rings & I got the Original Chicken Sandwich and onion rings. Everything was cold! There was no Hello, Welcome, Thank You, Have A Good Day no Nothing! The only way that I can understand how this place stays in business is it location, if it was some where else, the place would have been shutdown along time ago. It will definitely be a really really long time before I will be back...

I head up a global franchise system and live here in the Lake Murray area When I go into places like this and I see three people sitting in the corner and when I have a simple question I'm greeted with laughs and I'm not on the clock.. can you imagine blowing your money and have an employees represent you this way.. That being said it comes straight from the top so whoever is the owner has no plan.. because culture and lack thereof always comes from leadership. Like many of us that grew up and that admit to being a young Boomer :-) We remember when you walked into Burger King and it really was the best hamburger in town... period.. people smiled, I know what a novel idea, They enjoyed being there and the food was good.. My God how things have changed You're always hoping you might just get one person that has a good minute that gives you decent service.. In my case I sat in the parking lot made the mistake of downloading the app and of course I could not figure out how to customize the Whopper since it's supposed to be have it your way correct? When I went inside one person finally got up that was not on the clock, and they told me that that's just the way the app was.. And that I could not get it but the way that it was on the app so I could not take mayonnaise off for example.. I would say bizarre but how pathetic of a response for what used to be a really good hamburger franchise.. But these are the people that make up these type of hamburger places these days Obviously I would never go there again and there's literally two Burger Kings in the state that I have found that actually seem like a Burger King unfortunately they're both kind of out in the middle of nowhere where people still...

I had stop coming to this location because of cleanliness, rude staff, and management! I can say has of Jan 24, 2024 This store has changed after a year of not coming to this Burger King. When i walked in this store today the store was clean and smelling good and i was in shock, Nice music playing that did not make me feel like i was in a hood restaurant. When i went to place my order i was greeted with Welcome to Burger King "You Rule" by a nice young lady name Chyna, In which after speaking with her i was told that she is the New GM of this store. When we was talking i was telling her how it was a year ago when we use to come to this location and how it was a big difference and a better vib at this store. She told me that she just took over and is making a lot of changes staff wise and store wise which is a major plus. Chyna was a great pick for this Burger King in Irmo, Sc. I will be letting my family know that this store is under New management now! If you are a review reader Like me give this Burger King another try you will not be disappointed.
