Camp An Elli’s — Restaurant in South Carolina

I literally just tried to call in to place a to go order for the first time my first experience is already my last I've been in food service 18 years and I couldn't even get through my first item the call word for word, Me: hello do you guys do take out, Lady: Do we do take out? Me: yes sorry this is the first time calling in, Her: Yes we have take out, Me: Ok I'd like a to go order than please, Her: What do you want, Me: I'd like a BLT does that come w.... (cut off) Her: White toast?, Me: Does that come with mayo, Her: that's why I asked you, Me: im sorry I didn't hear that the menu doesn't say mayo, Her.... mmm. Me: you know what ill order somewhere else you seem like your being rude. Click I hung up given the good reviews I wanted to order from here some places I've worked dont have take out so I ask when ever I call in typing it out may not sound to rude but her tone on the phone was less than enthusiastic to be nice sadly enough I cannot rate the food because any place I eat will get 3-4 star just for service even if I dont like the food but I will not know the way the food taste because of off putting phone service.

This place is awesome!! We have been several times and the food is delicious and the prices are great. The biscuits and gravy is the best and the Reuben is outstanding. The service is always wonderful and the owner is so sweet. She always goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. Also, we have a son who is a first responder and Camp an Ellis gives them a great discount on their meals when they are on duty. That says a lot about this upstanding business. We had lunch. The place was extremely clean and quiet which was nice and the service was perfection. We were told the specials and we ordered. Everything came quickly, hot and ready.
