El Limon Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

My husband and I have been going here for years. But for the past 2-3 years we’ve slacked up because of the prices fluctuating. We would go and order the exact same thing and each time it would be different(huggers). So we didn’t go back for a long time. Went back last week, ordered a texmex for the hubby, cheesy rice and veggies for me and 2 medium Margaritas. The husband paid with our card. I didn’t think anything of it until I looked at our account… $65!!! And the tip was left on the table. $65……. I was so angry with my husband for not speaking up. So needless to say! We won’t go back. That food should’ve been no more than $40. Nothing good will come of them overcharging people. The food was good but the service was HORRIBLE. We were seated promptly, drink order was taken and received fast but weren't given menus. I understand if it's been a long day and one forgot to grab the menus at first, but when you come back with the drinks you should then realize hey they don't have menus and are sitting there awkwardly waiting. After waiting 5 minutes and multiple waiters passed by we got up and got our own menus from the front. Then 2 waiters came by and took our order. Food came out fast and was decent. After plates were taken, we then waited 10 minutes for the waiter who took our order drop off the receipt. We’ve been going here for years because we live just down the road, but this place has just gone way down hill. The service just sucks, someone takes your order and then they never check on you again. Even when the place is empty, the staff just forgets about you. Today they didn’t put chicken on my kid’s quesadilla, so I had to wave a guy down and he seemed upset that I asked for it to be fixed. What finally pushed me over the edge and made me want to make this review was that our waiter KEPT touching my 2 year old. Every time he walked by or was standing their taking our order he was rubbing my child’s head and belly and it made me so uncomfortable I just keep pulling my child’s highchair closer.
