Famous Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

April 2023 (1*) I really didn’t want to write this as I only found this place a few months ago and was really excited about it. However, the quality has drastically fallen off since then. I’ve eaten their pizza about every two weeks and I couldn’t have been more disappointed in the last few times, especially the latest. At first, the crust seemed like a New York style, later progressing into a greasy thin that wouldn’t hold toppings, into the latest which was thicker, fluffier, and without much flavor. The taste went from something to look forward to to something I didn’t want to finish. I’ve spend many years thinking that most pizza was average, rarely tasting anything exceptional, and rarely anything horrible. I feel I’ve seen a fast decline here, bordering on the exceptional and steadily falling close to, if not in, the bad pizza category. The service was always good and the people friendly, which makes this even more difficult to write. Sadly, I’ll be looking for a new place from now on.

November 2022 (5*) First time customer and all I can say is FA-NOM-I-NAL!!! I arrived in time to wait a few moments before the pizza was ready so I was able to leave while still hot. It had the perfect amount of cheese, the crust, while not stiff, held the ingredients well from box to mouth. It wasn’t thin, but not overbearing that I was eating a loaf of bread covered by ingredients. Ordered a tomato and mushroom large pizza, with pepperoni on half. The ingredients were not the overly seasoned items you might get from a National chain and they were excellent.

Extremely disappointing. my husband and I have eaten here once before and ordered meatball sub . Those were okay. Well we decided to come try their pizza. We ordered something SO simple. A half and half pizza , one half with cheese and olives. The other half a supreme with no black olives and no peppers. Well she brings the pizza out and its loaded down with everything we asked not to be on there. The supreme pizza had peppers all over it and the cheese pizza had pepperoni, onion, mushrooms and peppers. I simply asked for a cheese and olive pizza and I get that. I looked at hed and politely said, this isnt what i ordered. She then says, "I'm not the cook, dont get mad at me" and simply walks off. Doesnt offer to fix it, discount it, take it back, nothing. Just walks off leaving me with something I didnt order. I looked at the ticket and she had written everything wrong. So no it wasnt the cooks fault, it was hers. What was the cook's fault is the pizza dough being almost raw and it falling apart. $30 down the drain!!! Very...

July2021 Update, Still serving delicious food at a great price. I asked for 2 pieces of chicken with the ChickParm & received a good portion of thick delicious fried fillers with awesome sauce & no shortage of cheese.
