The Social Tap and Table — Restaurant in South Carolina

It says in it’s name TAP ROOM! So I go in expecting a bar like atmosphere… I asked the server if any particular night was as more lively and fun…she grumbled “No!”…I lol’s then asked the next employee and got the same reply. Willie the owner came out and I asked her the same question and she replied that she wasn’t interested in having a bar business (change the name lol)…she wanted to serve good food! Well…that she most certainly did…although still confused by the name of the establishment I was delighted with the food that was coming outa that kitchen! I’ve eaten here SEVERAL times and I have never been disappointed The food is fresh! Delicious and reasonably priced! I highly recommend The Social Tap Room for the food 4 Sho! My very first visit to South Carolina to the Anderson area. I walked in and felt like a family member. Alice greeted me first and proceeded to let me know what a person finishing their long road trip needed for dinner. I tried a flight of beer (I told her to choose all of the selections) and after the flight, I settled on a blonde stout. I paired that with my shrimp and grits. I then saw her carry out some collard greens for another person and decided I wanted to try them. I tasted them and sampled raspberry sour and decided to pair them. This spot is a must go to in Anderson, SC. You would literally ride right past it if you weren't looking for it, but make a special attempt! The food was AMAZING from the catfish my friend had and the mahi mahi salmon I had! The fried green tomatoes were so 🤤 especially with the blend of the shrimp and the sauce! The Barbara fries is a must try (like no other fries you will ever eat) I really like the way they prepare meals. You get full size portions even at lunchtime!!!!!!!!!!
