The man and woman working in this location verbally accosted a female customer Friday, October 18. The lady asked that her bread be laid in the bag, in order to avoid being mashed. The woman working told the man to give her (the customer) a d*mn bag. The lady was as nice as she could be and it was a simple request. After the woman was hateful the lady told them she would just call the corporate office to file a complaint and I hope she actually did because, at that point, it got worse. The man working told her he would give her the GD f-ing number himself. All of this over a simple request to lay the bread in a bag?! The woman told the lady if she called corporate to complain that the woman would know who she was because they are given that information. Not sure if she said that to hopefully dissuade the lady from calling or what. I typically go on the weekends when there is a very nice gentleman working. He’s always pleasant, helpful and kind. These two people working yesterday shouldn’t be allowed to work with the public. I have never in my life been so shocked at the actions and attitude of someone working in customer service. Very friendly and helpful staff! Good selection of unexpired date breads at a great price!! Crazy low prices on cakes, bagged donuts, etc that "expired" yesterday. I've found items at other retailers still at full price months after the expiration dates. Happened to find this gem on our wa to another destination. We spotted it and actually turned around. So glad we did. I have not seen a store like this in a long time. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often.
