I have a passion for writing reviews, and I’m not concerned whether they are positive or negative. My priority is to share my honest experiences, even if it changes how people perceive me. It's part of my role to speak the truth about dining establishments.
Let's discuss my visit to Hardee’s located on Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill. Right from the start, I had to make an effort just to get the attention of the drive-through staff to place my order. This was an immediate red flag that hinted at a disappointing experience ahead, as it suggested a lack of motivation among the employees.
When the employee finally took my order, her tone was so low that it felt like she was impatiently signaling for me to hurry up and finish my order, almost as if she was saying, “I don't want to be here, so just tell me what you want and leave me alone.” That was the overall impression I got.
Upon reaching the window, the worker’s expression was dismissive, making it clear she had no interest in assisting me. After handing me my order, I wished her a good day, but she responded with a look that communicated “just leave me alone” before turning away. The employee, an African-American girl with her red braids tied up, clearly had no enthusiasm for her job. In my opinion, she’s not suited for a role in customer service, and unfortunately, it seems Hardee’s is unlikely to address this issue, as the need for staff often outweighs the quality of service.
Interestingly, the restaurant was empty, both inside and in the drive-through. I was the sole customer at the time, so my order should have been prioritized immediately. Yet, I noticed a man in a yellow hoodie, dressed casually and seemingly unconcerned, moving about the kitchen. Their lack of willingness to engage made me question the quality of my food, leaving me hesitant to enjoy it, as I felt it might have been handled carelessly due to their apparent disinterest.
It felt as if my presence was an inconvenience to them, as if their tasks within the establishment were more critical than serving the customers who essentially fund...
Read moreAfter waiting only briefly to get to the speaker to order, we then waited about 3 to 5 minutes to be prompted to order and then had to repeat order to some magnitude when cashier didn't hear what was ordered. My wife and I ordered a Frisco ThickBurger combo and a Grilled Cheese Bacon ThickBurger combo both with large drinks. We then waited about 5 more minutes for the 2 cars ahead of us at the window. While then waiting for about another 5-6 minutes while AT the window, there had apparently been a car (an SUV) parked in a parking space waiting for their food. One of the employees apparently had to go outside to verify what they had ordered as they had apparently no idea what they had ordered or lost track of their order. While this is going on, the cashier asks me verifying he had given me my credit card back, which he had. But as it turns out, he had not given this bank card back to some previous customer. While they didn't know which customer, it was indeed not us or the customer in the SUV. Simultaneously, the employee who had to verify the order from the SUV, finally takes PART of the order to them but then, having not taken complete order on first trip, had to make another trip taking remainder of their order to them. As the SUV finally pulls out after waiting for what had to have been about 15 minutes, we are finally handed our order through the window. After arriving home, we quickly realized that we received two Grilled Cheese Bacon ThickBurger combos and not the Frisco ThickBurger combo, as they were same sandwich and neither had tomato.
I have had plenty of great experiences as multiple other fast food chain locations and plenty of bad experiences at multiple other fast food chain locations. While this was my first, only, and last experience at this particular Hardees location, it was the absolute worst fast food chain experience I have ever had. We will never return to...
Read moreDo not work here or spend your money here. I was recently an employee at this Hardee’s. Three days ago, I went into my pay hub and seen that someone changed my direct deposit information. That could only be me or the general manager. I have screenshots of the day it was changed and the checking account belong to. It was the general manager of this location. I talked to the district manager about this. She said that she would get back to me on what would be done. Here we are three days later I am without the check that I was supposed to get yesterday. I probably won’t get it until tomorrow or the next day simply because the general manager tried to steal money from me. I am a person that has bills and has to live. It Seems like nothing was being done about this situation since I brought it to the district managers attention three days ago. So today I asked for the owners (His name is Rob) information. When I pick up the phone, he very rudely tells me “ It’s none of your concern. This is my business” I say “ Excuse me, how is this none of my business your general manager tried to steal money from me” he says “ Your check is coming. Nothing else is concerning you” I couldn’t believe that. If I owned a restaurant, and my general manager was trying to steal money from employees, they would be terminated immediately. I would also give my deepest condolences to the victims.
EDIT* It is now Friday and I still haven’t gotten my check. I was supposed to get paid Tuesday…I now probably won’t get a check until Monday. This...
